Get the mini bowl at each shop so you can try more than one! The button is a little bit hidden near the bottom of the ticket machines, but it's there for most of them!
Nice place to taste different kinds of ramen . 300 yen to enter. Most places have a half portion of ramen , so you can have more than one. Very close to Shin-yokohama station.
Nice decorations but really it's just an over decorated food court :) Look for the ramen stores which have a line and you can't go wrong for choice. 名島亭 (downstairs) is good for Tonkotsu Ramen
Love the concept of this place that brings back old of Japan in the 50's. If you are a Ramen lover, a great place to hunt for. I recommend Miku
You can buy an admission ticket for the day and go in/out. Wish I knew that instead of stuffing my face with 3 bowls of ramen at the end of my day. Was definitely hurting!
Check out exhibits like the history of ramen or a replica of the first ramen dish ever eaten. The consumer was 17th century samurai named Mito Komon. Read more
Different kinds of delicious ramen all in one place! There's an entrance fee and it's like tiny ramen shops condensed into one spot, so you gotta pay at each ramen place . Don't forget the gift shop !
The mini ramen is still pretty sizable. Better to go with a group of friends, spend a few hours in there, and share the mini bowls .
Great ramen all around. The entire place has this nostalgic atmosphere, not so much a museum but a celebration of Japan in the 50s or so.
There are many types of ramen in this museum . There are from many places of Japan and also from the world. It is good to have this kind of places to enjoy ramen .
Day trip to Yokohama from Tokyo. Ramen museum is off the Shin yokohama stop and not exactly in the city center, but 15 min out. Very much a food court rather than museum . SUMIRA Ramen is a must try ????
It's actually very hard to share and try different places! You have to eat within each individual shop, not in the central area, and each person must order at least a bowl at each place.
There's more than 3 restaurants that offer vegetarian and no pig ramen .. And it taste fantastic
Interesting recreation of old Japan but you are paying admission to stand in line to purchase a bowl of ramen . There is same day readmission so go for lunch and try another type of ramen for dinner .
OVERRATED. This isn't a museum , just a bunch of ramen shops inside a well-decorated building. Poorly-curated too: Kitakata ramen isn't represented, even though it's one of Japan 's Top 3 Ramens .
The ticket is 380, little high to enjoy noodle at here..but u can enjoy various type of Japanese style noodle .
Small museum section upstairs, large ramen food court downstairs with 50's Japan decor.
Worth the 45 mins or trip from Tokyo . Each location requires that you order one bowl per person, but they have smaller "mini" bowls (the red buttons).
The museum is not great, but in combination with the food court it’s still worth it if you can spare the time. Wouldn’t put it on the top to-do list if you only have limited time in Tokyo.
The miso and shoyu based Ramen are both so delicious!
Take exit 8, and then make a left. That's the closest way to the museum . Male restroom is on B2F.
Okinawa style noodle , pretty good taste and I love it.
Ryu Shanghai chilli ramen is the pick of the bunch
If you can't get enough of food, head to the Shinyokohama Ramen Museum , which is practically a food theme park . Click here to read about more food museums ! Read more

Go early in the day otherwise it is like standing in line for a ride at Disneyland during peak season.
Living museum - they brough in popular ramen restaurants from all over Japan . Go early becaues the queue is L O N G during lunch time.
Technically in Yokohama, not Tokyo, but <1hr away on the commuter lines and well worth the trip.
Four mins from Shinyokohama station, which is just 18 mins by Shinkansen from Tokyo station - a free train journey if you're travelling with an international rail pass
Read ahead & know which shop / what kind of ramen you want to eat ???? , for you'll have to queue ????????????
Bit overrated (although delicious!) but if your in japan for the first time, aren't you going to go here just to say you did? :)
There are many different kinds of ramen shop.Pay for the museum entrance fee some more have to queue up to pay for the ramen ? Doesn't make sense at all. It seems more like a food court than a museum .

Nice atmosphere feel like real old town in Japan but crowded of both tourists
They also have gluten free ramen ! yeey!
Old city built in the building...lots of various ramens ...yummy
You can find an english translation on paper on the side of most machines.
Do not visit on Sunday. Madhouse
It was absolutely packed on a Saturday ????
Cool to look and try, but you can spend your time better elsewhere.
Get the "mini" bowls so that you can sample several different ramen types in one visit.
Better than the cup noodles museum because Ramen > Cup Noodle !
Order half bowls if wanting to eat more than 1 place.
Their mini ramen is not mini at all!
Ramen is not the only thing this museum has to offer. The inside is set up to replicate the buildings from the Showa-era (1950's-60's) and you get to see what Japan was like back then. Read more
Try the famous miso ramen !
Some shops started to serve vegetarian/vegan ramens .
Not worth the trip from Tokyo , but is interesting to see.
Good spicy miso ramen. Long lines like most of the other places. - Fernando Lemos
The Tonkatsu Miso is perfectly balanced. One of the best soups in the museum imho. - C F
シロネージュがオススメ???? - Wild Strawberry island
Went to see Muse here. Access is easy but sound was not great. - Etienne Pavajot
