Roasted meats . My makan kaki excitedly brought me here. Unexpected find. Shiok roasted pork ('sio bak'). Crispy skin layer, well-marinated, right level of fat. Char siew (BBQ pork ) is fatty type. Best

Sungei Road Laksa is the main draw here.

Cheen The Curious

Kopi was thick, aromatic & smooth

Elizabeth Lee

Where the famous sungei road laksa is located.

Daniel Kee

This is it. The original Sungei Road laksa that predates Katong laksa . Juicy clams in rich gravy for $2. Worth a minor heart attack.

Johnny Wang

(2/5) Small food center that lacks any real notable hawker stalls aside from Sungei Road Laksa , which alone isn't really worth coming out of your way for.

Lexelle de Charmaine

Kurau fresh prawn rolls , Sungei laksa , Ah Tee Kolo mee

Cheen The Curious

Popiah is salty! And not tightly wrapped with pride

Teng Lawrence

I love their white pepper crab ! ^_~

Cheen The Curious

Fried carrot cake was average, with a rather bland taste. I think I’ll just stick with laksa and roast meats here

Cheen The Curious

Iced milk tea is $2. Average, nothing outstanding

Ena Ho

Awesome Laksa , it's a must-eat here. Closest on the first and third Wednesday of the month!

Jamie

Charged $10 for a bowl of Lor Mee and a plate of fried fritters . The Lor Mee had little ingredients and had a lingering weird lemongrass taste. The plate of fried fritters was v oily. Disappointing!

Vincent Tan

Prawn noodles were ok at best

Jasmine Teo

Traditional Laksa : Must try! Small bowl, using spoon only. Close on Wed

Cheen The Curious

Prawn fritters : Avoid. Also half-baked effort. Fr same stall as lor mee . Stick to d tried & tested $2 laksa

Cheen The Curious

Wantan mee : My bfast WTM was salty, noodle undercooked. Even d fried pork lard was burnt. Which shows that d person preparing this dish doesn't like what he does :-(

????Beverly

Charcoal cooked laksa ! Must try!!

O O

The Loh Mee not bad, auntie knows how to build rapport.

I-finishing Jeffrey

The original Laksa at sungei road , Singapore Best!

Fish & chips. The tilapia fish fillet ($11.80) was masterfully crispy at Master Chippy. Firm & flavourful. Served with 2 standard sides, topping up a bit more for more premium items. Would order again - Cheen The Curious
