Great vibe. Get the pork buns , numbing beef and 3 shot chicken . Recommended by René Redzepi in CN Traveller.

Mel Mc

Ambient lower level dining. Friendly and knowledgeable service , they know how to get the portion ordering right when sharing. Some like it HOT, try the Beef fillet in fire water

Hidetaka Tanaka

Cool and funky regional Chinese cuisine - many dishes are indeed spicy ! My favorite is the spicy fried chicken . Also try their special cocktails based on your zodiac (yes, they have all 12 of them).

The banquet menu is great for giving you a selection of dishes to try. The menu is so good it's hard to choose so let them choose for you. You won't be disappointed! Delicious food.

Andy Lee

Really nice selection of modern Chinese. Genuine Chinese touch still stands strong amid refined touch of modern atmosphere . Bit of tricky location but feels like sneaking into a speck easy bar .

J

Favourites: white cut chicken with red cabbage and green chilli dressing , fried squid (Hong Kong typhoon style), steamed flathead (Hangzhou style)

Nele Vandersmissen

Don't skip the entrees- they are amazing. The eggplant entree is spectacular and so is the dried wagyu beef . Leave all of the traditional dishes and order outside of your comfort zone...

Hendy Ongkodjojo

Why is this place so dark?! Without the sommelier on shift, the wait staff tend to get really confused about wine choices! Other than that, the food was great! Do try the peking duck and numbing beef !

J

The cheaper Golden Banuqet is far (!) tastier than the Dynasty Banquet. The hot and numbing duck is neither hot or numbing; the pipis are delicious but nowhere near Golden Century quality.

Victoria Mifsud

Set menu is well planned out, great service, perfect place for a group all meals are made to be shared. Great flavours. Must try in Sydney

Steven Kalifowitz

They offer half portions, which makes this a great place if you're dining solo.

Johnny Pan

Good for dates . All dishes were good quantity, tasty. Three milk cake was a huge dessert even for 2 people

Marianne N

We went for a function and had the set menu . The food was nice enough, but two hats? Dessert was just frozen watermelon . Cool interiors but very dark. Would be nice for a date.

Denea GourmetRabbit

Gorgeous setting if you like it dark and cosy. Gorgeous menu, try the eggplant 3 ways and the hot and sizzling wagyu beef . Desserts are to die for-go the choc parfait and mango pudding

Summer Riesling

100 wines , exactly, on the list.. why? So that 15 of them can be Riesling , of course. Rockpool by Grosset from the Clare Valley by the glass is a tasty drop or pick up a bottle for added fun

Valen A

The cocktails are unique and the staff are just outstanding! The food was just too overpriced though - I’m not sure that I could justify paying that amount again for something that’s not fine dining .

Liana Z

Sooooo good. Must try: Hot and numbing dry Wagyu beef as well as the Stir fried quail and peanuts with steamed egg custard . Amazing food and impeccable service .

Cara Harvey

Meal highlights include the pork eggplant / lamb pancakes / chilli chicken and chocolate parfait ! Amazing! Can't wait to not be a student and eat there again.

Julie M

Tea-smoked chicken with black rice vinegar This signature dish needs 24 hours notice. Marinated then tea-smoked, steamed, dried and cooked, the meat is juicy and the skin crisp.

Mel Mc

The Spice Temple way is the only way, you must order the Northern style steamed pork buns . One serve is just not enough

Oanh Trinh

Very dark inside, a bit off-putting because you lose your bearings. Its fancy chinese food done quite well and you pay for it too.

Himanshu Kshetrapal

The bar , drinks, ambience, food - super awesome!

Tastychopsticks

Food was too salty. Oyster sauce , soy sauce has plenty of sodium. Eggplant , wagyu & fried minced quail . I dont get why everyone likes the wagyu here. It was dried like beef jerky , waste of the produce

Vinoaj Vijeyakumaar

Hot and numbing wagyu beef is a must

Ahmet Uglu

Entrees are really tasty

SocialDiary X

WOW - seriously amazing. Must have the pork belly salad and the fish with heaven-facing chillies. To die for! Best dessert is the mango pudding . Swoon.

David Haber

The hot, sweet and numbing pork is fantastic. Skip the spare ribs .

Rachel Hawkeswood

Delicious pork hock with black vinegar tea ....

Erin Pettigrew

Either we ordered poorly or this was less spectacular than the hype. I'm favoring the latter. Though the cocktails and opium den setting were marvelously dreamy.

Julia Curtin

All the chillies! Yum

kalle kortelainen

Dumplings , pork hoc, Chinese broccoli , crab salad ,

Brenda Lawlor

Duck pancakes are the best

Phil Nom

Tea smoked duck breast entree is ace

Enes

A bit pricey but delicious.

chicken with chillies facing up and the numbing pork is to die for!!!

Michelle

The yum Cha can be fairly good at times however the price just does not justify it

Oscar Cai

Strange flavour chicken

Nicholas Ong

I ordered the dry wagyu , squid and mushroom pot. The food is a bit salty for my taste, it does goes well with the rice though. Not suitable place if you are dining alone.

Ann L

Chinese Star Sign cocktails are a win

Vijay Vijeyakumaar

Great Food.Tried Peking Duck

Denea GourmetRabbit

Delicious wine list , try a champagne with spicy dishes , it works like a charm

Mark

Numbing Beef and shredded chicken salad . Crispy pork was divine

Tiffany Sis

great place.. try their numbing pork and tea smoked chicken .

Cuneyt Uysal

Bookings are essential, although the bar has great cocktails if you're willing to wait. The "horse" and "monkey" are top notch.

Traladadie

Guangxi-style crisp roast pork belly

Ivan Kaye

Miranda Luby

Rabbit cocktail and caramelised pork ribs - yum!
