Love Rockpool for its wonderful service & modern twist on your fav foods. The Charcoal Roast Prawns , Wood Fire Grilled Eggplant , Sautéed Jerusalem Artichokes & Carrots and Sebago Potatoes were divine
Great ambience and great food, Neil Perry 's outlet lives up to its reputation as one of the leading restaurants in Sydney. Alaskan Crab Avocado Salad , Lobster Thermidor, and Wagyu Steaks are good!
My fav steak place!! It's casual but the food was so good! The wagyu everyone was raving about was too fatty.. It cost $110 for a piece... But i will still go back cod most of the time food is amazing
Spiced apple old fashioned is amazing.. They smoke the apple reduction. Super cool. Best wagyu Reuben of my life, and top 5 burgers (wagyu medium rare all the way)
One of the best steaks in Australia and one of the few places in Sydney where you can eat a meal at the bar . Great for solo travelers looking to try the best Sydney has to offer.
Shoestring fries is so thin&crispy.Add the wagyu sauce to go with it.Also get the wagyu burger as the patty is thick & juicy.Good service as well. They will divide the portion to 2 if you are sharing.
Such a cool restaurant in the heart of Sydney. If you wish the learn more about what happens in the back stage, you can book an Airbnb experience there
My perfect RBG meal. Chipotle margarita to start, kingfish carpaccio , grass fed eye fillet with horseradish cream and BBQ sauce , side of creamed corn with manchego and a glass of Pinot . Perfect!
Amazingly beautiful interior (used be a bank lobby), amazingly thick wine list (most expensive ones are kept in the original vault)...and of course amazing food (especially steak )!

Definitely do the steak here. Grass fed dry-aged ribeye or t-bone both good. Sit at the bar if main hall is full. Less stuffy!
Cape grim dry aged vintage 60 month old grass fed fillet 250g is beautiful. The mushy peas and egg side is simple but very delicious.
The Spanner Crab , Roast Cherry Tomato , Spicy Prawn Oil with Semolina Noodles is so flavorsome! And for cocktails you gotta try Johnston's Revenge--they don't call it a world class cocktail for nothing
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. I suggest coming hungry with a bunch of friends and sharing as many of the dishes as you can. Service is excellent too.
Had a steak here for lunch with some friends from work. My steak lacked taste and moisture. The mac and cheese was different but excellent. I even enjoyed the green bean salad .
Great service, but my ribeye was bland! If the béarnaise sauce & mustard is the only source of flavour, they completely ruined a good piece of meat. For $65, you would think it would look appetising ?
All is good here. The dishes, wine , desserts , coffee , ambient and the service personal is professional. Outstanding.
Nice ambiance, great steaks and an impressive wine list . A must if you’re looking for a good piece of meat in the CBD
Start with king prawns / hummus salad ; served with tahini and giant croutons -- simply divine! If wagyu is not an option, why not try the cape grim beef range -- not wagyu but almost as beautiful!
Definitely worth going to the bar , not the restaurant . You can order restaurant food at the bar . And there are 2000+ wine glasses hanging in the bar , which makes an impressive display.
Steaks are served precut; server says so people can share and so chefs know if it's cooked properly. Rockpool, if your chefs don't know a steak is done without cutting into it, you need better chefs .
go for grass-fed rib-eye and cos salad as a side. reserve very well in advance. beautiful food, service is questionable though
Wagyu burger is on point. Also, the bar has a really amazing "chandelier " as they call it.
Just brilliant wagyu brisket ! Just do it!! Also the fat chips :) the BBQ sauce is great as well !

Had the wagyo steak . Was really good. Service gave good advice on servings, and was really attentive.
Amazing. Best grain fed steak I've ever tried, plus the chips in wagyu fat and truffle oil ! Wow
Great foods, good for dates & special occasions + beautiful environment
Excellent bar menu if you're after a quick lunch . Most people (understandably) order the wagyu burger but don't disregard the excellent tapas selection. And the wine list ... enough said!
Quite an institution in Sydney. Grilled seafood and grilled meat are both awesome.
Phenomenal food! If you can't get a reservation , eat at the bar - you'll love it!
One of the nicest restaurants I've been to in a long time... Was a great location for our honeymoon dinner !
The staff were sweet plus they had a nice bowl of sweets by the entrance which was nice
Truely the best burgers in town . Definately worth the price. Can't go wrong with the wagyu !
Sit at the bar , it's more relaxed and has the same great food.
Smallest martini we've seen in awhile. Appetizers small too. The wagyu burger is good, but I wouldn't rave about it. Same with the fries . Great atmosphere and decor, though.
Lovely ambience in this grand old building . Have an aperitivo at the bar before hand
Consistently excellent, particularly steaks . Order from the bar menu if you don't have a rez
Burger and a negroni . What more could you ask for!
Good but not great - service 4, food 3. Drink menu and wine list excellent, expected so much more from Ribeye , avocado crab to salty, paparelle - citrusy. Expected much much more
Sit at the bar , indulge in the burger and an old fashioned, and admire the famed chandelier while Sinatra croons in the background.
The dry aged 9+ marble Wagyu 200 Sirloin is out of this world! Truly melt in your mouth beef !! I could eat 9+ of them ;)
Wagyu Burger is awesome as are the chips ! Also get the warm rhubarb and strawberry pudding if you've still got room for dessert !
Fillet and heaps of sides. Definitely get the Mac and cheese .
Go to the bar after dinner for a post-dinner cocktail and some delicious Petit-Fours
Love the lamb with mint jelly and the vanilla pannacotta for dessert . Doughnuts are light as a feather if you're looking for more indulgence for dessert
The wagyu burger definitely lives up to the hype! Also had the Black Forest Trifle, Inspired by The Fat Duck 's BFG - give it a go it was heaven!!!
Highly recommend the Wagyu burger and Cabernet pairing
Awesome atmosphere in this place with the massive marble pillars and open kitchen . Try the Potato Gratin side. Delicious.
Wine & steak & ambience. Can be a little pricey but worth it
The food is amazing and a huge selection of wines. Bookings are essential for peak times. Don't forget to try some of the ever changing delicious starters. - Elliot Chance
Being a Saturday night, the place was packed, so a reservation is essential. Service was prompt and we were quickly seated. We had a pleasant experience. - Nick Oei
Lovely service. Got free cocktails because we had 2 wait 20mins longer 4 our table. Pork belly =amazing. So was the Wagyu steak. Love this place! - yrummy
Favourites: white cut chicken with red cabbage and green chilli dressing, fried squid (Hong Kong typhoon style), steamed flathead (Hangzhou style) - J
Absolutely an amazing complex! Its history is unique. Guided tour is essential. Right after the tour you have a discount for a show! I had a chance to watch Tosca! - Suna A.
Nice interiors of a complex with event spaces and F&Bs. There is even a pool on L6. It does not have street frontage and access is through a side lane. Worth a look see. - Ting
