Generous set meal . $4 for a plate of duck rice , an egg & half, salted vege , braised tofu , & a bowl of soup
Braised Duck set: duck was good: tender & tasty. The preserved vegetables were still firm. The egg was surprisingly not overcooked but a bit dry. The rice was decent. The soup was good: slight herbal.
Generous portions and very tasty. I had the duck rice . Worth queueing for.
I really think the duck was overcooked, rendering its texture too soft and liver-ish. Ok Chill the hell out before u downvote me. The rice was awesome and the soup tasted like real BKT (M'sian style)!
They have 2 chili sauces : the lighter coloured one is spicier (more seeds). Both were good: slightly sweet, not just sour & spicy .
One of the best braised duck and the yam rice also well cooked!!
