Compared to Seng Kee 3 stalls away, He Zhong's CTK is fluffier & more fragrant. As u can see fr photos, eggs r fried golden brown. Compared to Chey Sua @ Toa Payoh, pieces r bigger but less tasty
Bring mum here for tea break to try the popular He Zhong Carrot Cake (from #02-185). I'm ok with the lightly-salted Cai Pok Egg with Carrot Cake , but mum commented its too blend.
White only! Double stacked and binded with eggs , this carrot cake is fluffy goodness.
$2 carrot cake found here.. cheap & good!
Came at 8pm on a weekday. Had to wait 20 minutes for carrot cake . Tell them your queue number and they will serve it to you.
From the last couple of times I tried, taste is still good but the eggs r not fried to a nice crispy golden brown. Standard drop?
My favourite carrot cake ! Too bad they don't have the black one :(
Two thumbs up for this stall. Only serves white carrot cake .
Good crispy carrot cake on chunks
Very good but maybe not as good as Seng Kee .
Their satay bee hoon is very nice. The satay sauce is not too sweet or too oily or very spicy. A perfect balance and very smooth, truly one of the best! - Torzin S
If you want to make this taste better. I suggest u watch the uncle cook. It definitely opens up your taste bud. - Cyrus Yung
Add $1 for fish roe! Really good, the portion is generous as well. Sambal can be improved but not bad! - Citra Ernest
Unit no changed to #01-37 after renovation. The carrot cake is indeed nice but it's very uneven after stir frying it with eggs & sauce. Best to eat without Chilli. - Andorra Ooi
Braised duck cooked to perfection. Rice was well flavoured. Best duck rice I've had in years! - Shen Tan
I think the food at the other Paradise outlets is better, char siew deserves a mention though!! Porridge is big serving and recommended to be shared - minzyiii
