Great place to run or walk or exercise that's right on Lake Washington! Super family friendly and just a breath of fresh air (construction is and will be going on for the next twoish years)!
Seward park is one of my most favorite places in Seattle. The paths along Lake Washington are excellent, and there are many things to do or see. Also a great place for family picnics .
My favorite park in Seattle . I love that you can walk right by the water, or in the old growth forest , or do both! And you can catch gorgeous glimpses of Mt. Rainier here.
Such a beautiful and friendly park , just don't go at night after it closes bcuz it's not too safe. The entire loop is on the water which is a great distraction.

Great view of Rainier on a clear day. Bike there on Sunday when Lake Washington Blvd is closed to cars.
Good place to take a walk or picnic on the beaches . The hiking trails on top are worth the walk. Clean but can be unsafe at night.
There are many trails and sights to see. Just remember that you are not the only one on the path. Be respectful to others.
There is plenty of parking atop the hill . The trail is 3 miles long, a good hour long walk

We dare you to walk the 2.5 mile path loops around the waterfront and then go view the 100 of kinds of birds they have around the children's play area .
Walking around the shoreline is great, but don't miss out on the cool paths through the old-growth forest
The upper trails are great to run on and it's actually hard to get lost. This is my all time favourite park in Seattle .
The Seward Park Loop is a great place to run all year round. On hot days you get a refreshing breeze off the water.
Views of mount rainier on a clear day, park is great for a nice walk or jog.

Set up a hammock next to a trail a chill . Also bike races on Thursday afternoons.
Do not be afraid of the volcano in the distance! It hasn’t erupted in a long time.

The trails in the interior of the park are fantastic. Park at first lot on loop and enter trail across street.
