Excellent place for breakfast . Had a nice menu and the food was served quickly.
Great location for breakfast , desert , or coffee ☕️ friendly staff and plenty of options to choose from the menu ???? ???? my fav was the cappuccino and the coconut ???? cake
You could go with the chocolate croissant . You could go with the almond croissant , but the chocolate almond croissant is better.
Nice French cafe with lots of seating. The wood texture on the walls makes the place feel homely and a bit dark, a nice retreat during a bright , hot day.
Love the Tomato Basil soup ... I could live off of it and a potato galette !
The Chicken Caesar Salad is one of my favorite Caesar's, and I eat A LOT of them. The large is HUGE.
Great for a quick but delicious and substantial breakfast . I love their breakfast sandwiches .
Also awesome food can be very crowded at brunch and it is seat yourself. So be prepared to steak out a table
This is a great place with tons of yummy options. Had the country potato soup and chicken friand and it was outstanding. Highly recommend everything.
French cafeteria with all the traditional food , and beautiful pastries as well . Real French onion soup , croque monsieur , quiche . If you buy food, bread and butter are on the house. Read more
This chain restaurant is a good option. The Old Town location is nice and cozy but the kitchen is inconsistent. Go to Kingstown to be safe.
Try every pastry . They are all simply amazing. Outdoor seating when weather permits.
Good for breakfast and coffee , quiet and lovely in the evening. I wrote a good part of my doctoral thesis here..
Cranberry salad + lentil soup+onion soup were good
Good stuff! I love this location in Alexandria. I had Crepes and eggs ... AWESOME!
perfect for breakfast . love the hot chocolate . gets crowded on weekend mornings.
The Pear & Prosciutto Salad was pretty much perfect. I'm coming back again for dinner tonight!
Friendly service and great outdoor area that's perfect for people watching along King Street.
Really good bakery/sandwich and soup place . Try the homemade french onion soup ! Best soup and sandwich in town .
I had a blackberry cheese danish . Yum. Also you can order in French.
Cafe latte is huge and delicious!
The French baguette is tasty, coffee is delicious, great price.
Food was really good, reminds me of Panera. But the service is weird and kind of confusing when it comes to ordering, especially as a first timer.
I'm not familiar with the other options here in Old Town , Alexandria, but there must be something better than this. It's an over-priced cafétéria . The staff seemed disinterested and bored.
Pretty good pastries and delicious cappuccino .
french design for decoration is really awesome
The salad sampler is perfect portions to try multiple soups or salads !!
The savoury sampler is very nice, for a fast lunch !
Very nice bakery to eat.
Everything is great!
Warm atmosphere and great food, stop by for a bite if you are in the area
The shrimp florentine crepe is fantastic!!
Get the mini cafe au lair creme brûlée , it's amazing!!!
The regular size salad is much larger than you think... and delicious
Croissants are fine.
Very confusing cafeteria style ordering. The hostess was useless and rude.
Crepe Romanoff and quiche lorraine were excellent but the service was mediocre. Very confusing on how to order and pay for food.
Coffee cups are huge
Delicious soups and salads
Great place for brunch !
Some breakfast items served all day.
the coffee very good, and a nice spot
Nothing is good here. The latte was watery and bitter, the flow for service is confusing, food is sloppy. I stumbled in and couldn’t get out fast enough.
French onion soup is great!
Love the potato soup !
The food is edible.
The turkey cranberry melt is an excellent seasonal meal
Dessert is tasty, but the coffee is not very good.
The french dip is wonderful
Order the Tomato Soup !!!!

They make their mimosas with Rosé. Super delicious! The steak in the steak & eggs is really tender and juicy, too! - V Gandy
Favorites are the chicken Dijonnaise and the filet au poivre. Onion soup is great. - Scot H.
Great food (tilapia), great views and great service at the chart house! - Nicole Leber
Tiny place. Not much seating and usually crowded. However, fast and excellent service! - Rowan McDowell
Great area, lots of shopping and food options! Many historical activities and sights and every corner of the neighborhood has lots of hidden gems! Go on a tour, if you have the time! - Markus Tarjamo
