In his diary for 1662 Samuel Pepys makes the first written record of a Punch and Judy show in Britain, by an Italian puppet showman. It was performed under the east portico of St.Paul’s Church

I ordered the hunter's chicken sandwich with no bacon , it was yummy

Touristy yes, pricy - 4:65 a pint.. Not too bad for central London. True about the loos, you might pee in someone's back pocket so small!

No wheat beer in the house. However, order a DUVEL, great large, strong belgian beer .

Has a cool balcony to see the performers in Covent Square

Nice pub at thw centre of covent garden market however it's a bit pricy .

Fish and chips ofcourse. Maybe I should drank ale , apple cider was wrong decision.

Balcony is cool, but paying 13 pounds for 2 beers served in plastic glass is way too much.

Service is at the bar . Staff might look quite weird if you try unsuccessfully to catch their attention from a table.

Love it, Pint in Hand and watch the world pass by or be amused by the street performers ....

What's good here? Not the service that's for sure. Beer was served in a plastic cup!

Try the mixed olives , they are lovely, only 1.95, and they've got little pickled onions in them too!

The street acts spend half an hour on 2 mins of material, turn your back on them

Go to the toilet before you get here. World's smallest and smelliest toilets .

Nice place. Shame they don't have food.

Literally the most abysmal toilets downstairs, very slow service, and our nachos were burnt. Nachos , the easiest thing to "cook"

not as nice as the brasserie blanc around the corner.

£5 a pint!

Awesome location however the bartenders are rude and slow.

Always good to stand on the balcony in the sun with a pint!

Heat lamps outside make a cold evening bearable!

Beyond average... Average food and longer waits.

Terrible service! You will get annoyed so be prepared!
