Shallow and clear water with trees behind for shade and a cafe / restaurant for coffee . 10-15 minute walk from much busier Manly via an ocean pool.
I had a dive there , good for diving, check the sharks season, if you would like to see some.
When walking to Shelly from Manly watch out for the water dragons on the rocks and the cool iron sculptures on the walls.
Nice quiet beach with a great diving and snorkelling spots around.

A nice and quiet beach with palm trees and shade. No waves , so it's good for swimming but bad for surfing

Fantastic snorkelling off Shelly Beach. Loads of big Blue Gropers, Wobbygongs and many other fish . Great beach for kids.
