I always try to make a stop at La Castela when in Madrid. You can try to make a reservation in the restaurant or just have the same food at the bar , disputing space with other people.

The best food I had in Madrid. Local people only, food is amazing. Go with reservation or stay at the bar . Also go with waiter 's suggestions. No English here ????

Everything tasty! Tuna , sirloin with foie and grilled squid were incredible. Octopus and squid rice was yummy. Apple tatin with vanilla ice-cream really good. It is worth it, don't miss it!

Best Tapas in Madrid! Order a drink and you get a free tapa . Hard to find that these days. The food menu is amazing and the drinks too. Great wine also!

Definitely a top tapas spot in Madrid. Get a spot at the bar in front and go nuts . The octopus and tuna / peppers “stack” are delicious.

Clams & shrimp on garbanzos were UH-MAZING! Grab a beer or wine before you order food and you’ll receive a complimentary little tapa (s). A must-go.

Tuna belly is very good, must try. Foie is a generous amount, we couldn't finish it. Rice putin is ok. Creamy rice with octopus I really liked it. Although mu friends think it's very salty.

Tough to get a table without a reservation . The bar area, although a bit tight, isn’t too bad. Enjoyed all the tapas we ordered !

Chipirones encebollados is delicious. I like the place. You definetely need reservations otherwise you need to fight for a sit at bar .

If you want to dine, you'll need to go to the back room. While we found difficulty getting an English speaking waiter , we managed and it was an excellent experience.

With a shameless demode decoration, this place if full of joy and excellent food. Try the Solomillo is the best in town

Tapas exquisitas y productos de mar frescos . Recomendables 100x100 los chipirones encebollados , solomillo con foie al oloroso, ensalada de ventrescas y la Tosta de cabrales con jamón de pato !!

Ambiente animado . Serviço rápido. Doses generosas.Tapas muito saborosas. Recomendamos as conquilhas (5*), o rabo de boi e um prato frio de pimento, atum , maionese e tomate (não lembramos do nome).

Estupendo ambiente! Recomendado como uno de los cinco mejores bares de Madrid. Camareros simpatiquísimos. Aciertas con cualquier tapa , recomiendo lacón con pimiento y idiazabal y clásico de bonito.
