Neighborhood staple. Delicatessen goodness, latkas, matzo ball soup , smoked meat are all great options. The tall, blonde, host/waiter Alex is amazing, he made the experience much better for our table.

Chopped liver is one of the best in the city . If you order the rib steak , you can ask to change the sausage/liver entrée for chopped liver , and you also get a stack of fresh rye bread .

Great smoked meat - less grainy brisket than Schwartz 's - great on their poutine as well . Club roll is a great sandwich alternative to the smoked meat - verenikas are great too (fried with onions )

Nice place to go after a party in downtown. Open until 5am, beer selection is quite poor but the food selections is amazing! Also, it is very cheap

I went here because of the long queue in Schwartz’s . The servers are kinda rude and unhappy. The food not bad but i would choose to wait the queue in Schwartz’s next time anyway.

Smoked meat was on par with Schwartz 's (wouldn't say it's better), but no line . Servers have attitude (but I'm told that's part of the charm?)

Get the fried verenekes. Best kept secret in mtl. And ask for Yohann to serve you, great guy.
