Celebrity caricatures line the walls at this iconic Theater District restaurant , where a legendary past is served with a side of Broadway lore--and a damn good martini . Read more
Traditional, old-school yet still cool. It’s a place you should try at least once. Come for a pre-theater cocktail and club sandwich . The bartenders are the best!
Love the classic ny vibe. Great cannelloni , pesto lasagna , and cheesecake . Also the strawberry dessert at top menu is like a whip cream cake !
People is nice and it's a legendary place. Worth it.
I loved these cannelloni for the past 30 years--came back and still great! Cheesecake was great too!
Absolutely terrible. Terrible food, worse service. Insane prices. The pictured chitty chitty Caesar salad was $25 and took OVER AN HOUR to come out at 9pm on a Wednesday in a totally empty restaurant .
Service and food was awesome! Quiet meal away from the craziness of Time Square!
Squeeze up to the bar upstairs for a cocktail and light bites. Order a Manhattan and enjoy the theater crowd.
Get the eugena room for parties!! You can't go wrong. Great food and drinks. Plus celebrity canvas all over the walls!
Food was delish, bar upstairs was rly chill too , was there a few days after christmas and it was a great vibe
Classic New York spot. Grab a drink at the upstairs bar in between shows and relish a retro experience.
The walls are crowded with celebrity caricatures , which are fun to survey while enjoying a cocktail or a dessert . Read more
Upstairs bar is one of the best spots to grab a drink in midtown.
Fabulous beef cannelloni ! Martinis are amazing! Will definitely be back on my next theatre foray

Make sure to let your server know if you're seeing a show, what time you need to leave, and where the theater is :-) I promise they will accommodate you. AND enjoy your meal
Head upstairs for a cocktail before or after a show, or to just get away from the Times Square madness.
The cannelloni is a signature dish here. Wonderful flavor, and one of the most popular items on the menu since 1927.
Surprisingly no wait and not too bad on the wallet for a Friday night dinner in the theater district. Food and service was exceptional
A New York institution. Try a cocktail here at least once in your life!
Get the crackers and cheese , even if it IS refrigerated in little crocks now.
If you want to see Jose the bartender extraordinaire and Little Bar fixture, come on Wednesday or Saturday or both!
Ask for the cheese and crackers upstairs at the bar for the real experience
The spinach cannoli is delicious ! Not vegan friendly but delicious... :-)
They had James Galdolfini's portrait in a place of honor, may he rest in peace .
Mad Men Season 2: "The New Girl" Don joins funnyman Jimmy Barret and his wife Bobby here to celebrate the sale of his comedy show.
Bartender does a great cosmopolitan with a perfect pour, at $15 per drink.
Great spot for old school Broadway feel. Go after shows start and the place clears out.
Listen carefully, and you'll hear the echoes of conversations between producers and actors of a bygone era. Listen !
Since you're so close to the Winter Garden Theatre (50th & Broadway), catch a performance of MAMMA MIA, now 11 years on Broadway. For best availability, try a 2pm Saturday or Sunday matinee.
What’s not to like. Great food and attentive service .
A classic stop after a show for a cocktail .
Always fun. Quick. Good food. Before a show.
Great to see Broadway legends immortalized in drawings. Food is meh at best. Go during lunch when there is no crowd
If the upstairs bar is too crowded , try the little bar--to the left when you enter. And keep your eyes peeled for celebs.
A cup of after dinner coffee is worth it here! Really good coffee
Ask to get sauce (like teriyaki ) with your vegetable basket if you're vegetarian
Overrated. 25$ for 2 standard caneloni is not worth it. Tiramisu was weird. I expected more for the food. The place has a good retro atmosphere and good service .
Amazing cananolli. Great atmosphere and food. Great ny institution
The coolest, kitchiest cocktail bar in the Theater District. Great for after-theater Baked Alaska
Basic spaghetti dish is good. Cheesecake delicious. Some dude just walked in with an astounding fur coat.
Shrimp and crabmeat salad
Went there for my birthday with my family & was disappointed. Chicken tasted like a Goodyear tire and the pasta was "eh." Service was okay but not good. Lots of tradition but not what it used to be.
Can't miss on anything
You must ask for Alex's table when u go to Sardis. Crab cakes Devine
Good place but old atmosphere
Classic Broadway joint. Menu might be pricey , but try stopping in for a drink before a show.
Great food, service & ambience
The salmon was excellent with the parsley mashed potatoes
Service sucks in a major way, but maître d was very cool to seat us over an hour early. The spinach cannelloni was delicious.
Small plates of Italian awesome. 24-month prosciutto melts in your mouth. Phenomenal porchetta sandwich. - Pat Hu
Fantastic Show! Very talented actors. Balcony seats still provide a good view. - Michael Liu
Excellent show. A must see....even if you are not a Green Day fan. Very accurate portrayal of misguided youth. - Melissa C
