Dallas World Aquarium is a aquarium West End Historic District Dallas located in United States.
1801 N Griffin St (at Corbin St) Dallas , TX 75202 United States
Great place for kids to experience rainforest, birds and animals. Visuals are great, info about species cud be more accessible. Food areas are scattered all over :( Avoid holidays, it gets crowded
Yes, I agree, you need to walk through the aquarium slowly to really enjoy and see everything. If you go through it too fast you will miss a lot. If you go left just remember there is also a right.
Friendly , knowledgeable staff whom will answer any of your questions, wonderful and immersive biomes, much more than what you'd find at your typical aquarium . The Dallas World Aquarium is top notch.
There is so much to see here, from tiny frogs to penguins, a manatee and seahorses, owls and parrots and sloths. There are so many exhibits , be prepared to set aside a couple of hours.
It's a great place, I wasn't sure what to expect, but it was amazing to be so close to the animals, you could see everything, it definitely is worth seeing!
They have made this place better! A lot more animal exhibits to walk around and see. Took me around 2 hours to see the whole thing. I think the price is reasonable and kids will enjoy it.
More like an indoor zoo , which was just what we needed on a hot Texas summer day. All 3 generations of our family loved it.
So much more than an aquarium . Very impressive displays and some of the most exotic birds I've ever seen. Well worth a visit.
They have such a great variety of animals . The flamingos were so gorgeous and I was in awe the whole trip. I would go again in a heartbeat. Next time I will try the restaurant !
If you didn’t know it was an aquarium , you’d think it’s a zoo ! Birds, crocodiles , snakes and frogs - and more! There’s a surprise at every corner and every floor!
Cool spot for some local, in town fun. Great aquatic exhibits and an overall neat place for the kiddos.
This aquarium is wonderful the animals are taken care of... and there is a lot to see make sure you have a map so you can navigate through everything
All of it! I specially liked the several levels of the big aquarium , to see the animals and fish in their favorite places.
The aquarium is nice, but many of the enclosures are not labeled. There are a lot of birds and monkeys as well . The penguin exhibit is pretty small. The shark exhibit is pretty neat!
One of the best aquariums I have ever been toooo! I love the jungle theme they have going on. Worth every dollar to get in!!
Kids and adults alike will love this aquarium . You feel like you're in a jungle the entire time. Look for the sloth just hanging out in an open tree near the snack stand. :)
Excellent value... great herpetarium, insectarium, aviary, and aquarium . Beautifully put together.
Loved the aquarium . So many great exhibits , even a few that I haven't seen at most. They have many penguins too!!! Definitely recommend.
One of the coolest aquariums ever! It's also a zoo ! Contemplates an enormous variety of animals . When in Dallas, a must see!
It has a great arrangement of aqua life and in a very presentable way too. A great place for visitors.
There’s some sort of event/animal feeding going on every hour - grab a brochure and keep track of what events you can visit while you’re here.
The Dallas World Aquarium at 8 minutes drive to the south of Dallas dentist Fitz Dental
Very cool aquarium and jungle forest atrium. Has something for everyone.
Lots of animals and fish , and beautiful exhibits , but there are lots of little kids
Great place for families. Does get very crowded and long queue on weekends.
Well curated aquarium with more than just sea animals. Go when school is in session to avoid stroller road blocks.
Loved it here! Neat how they set it up. Definitely not your traditional aquarium .
It was really great, defiantly a must do. I would suggest getting there early.
It's way more a rainforest bird exhibit than an aquarium . Shedd in Chicago and the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta are way more impressive.
With thousands of natural attractions where do you start at Dallas World Aquarium? The 400,000-galloon tank of Mundo Maya. It’s packed with sharks… watching you watching them.
It was an amazing experience! The place is wonderful with lots fish and the rainforest is completely out of this world!
Don't rush on this one. Parking - Pay and Put the receipt on the dashboard! Look at the Guidebook given at the ticket counter and plan your visit. Every corner has something.
It's not so much an aquarium than it is an indoor zoo . If you set your expectations as such, it's a good place to spend 2 - 3 hours.
Absolutely love this place. The variety of animals is vast. Great for all ages and occasions.
Depending on what excites you go slowly from one ecosystem to another. I loved the Sharks, Penguins, and aquatic beings from various countries .
Start at the top floor and walk down. Lots of specimens cleverly arranged in a small footprint. More fun than the zoo .
The sharks are the most incredible thing that you can see in this place ????
On Very Hot days, get there early and be prepared to wait in line outside. Bring water.
I love how beautiful the aquarium is and how close you can get to the sloth.
Sitting in the shark tank is definitely the best part if this place. And that you can walk around with a drink in your hand!
If you have kids, walk carefully and keep an eye on them. There are gaps in certain places and the young ones can really get themselves into trouble
Everything is amazing! It's like a zoo and an aquarium . So many cool exhibits !
Very nice Aquarium and worth the visit! You have to check out the Shark exhibit it wraps around to the roof!
Best aquarium I have ever been too! Coolest concept, not your run of the mill aquarium . A def must see!
I like it a lot for my son but its kinda expensive and when I went 3 years didn't have that much. But other then it's a really nice aquarium n want to go again
Very fun trip! So much more than just an aquarium , it's an adventure.
Really nice aquarium but a bit pricey ????
If you come with little ones, DO NOT warn them about the birds possibly pooping on their heads. It doesn't end well until you get to the Manatees. But then, yay Sea Cows!
It looks small on the outside but it is an awesome aquarium . I loved it.
Come early less crowding and able to see more. And yes the animals are active in the morning.
Great place to stop after a tour of the aquarium. Overlooks the upper level of Mundo Maya where you can have a bird's eye view of the cenote. - Danette Susanne
A stingray touch tank caps off this intimate aquarium, perfect for kids! Each wing has lots of fish and information. Not too big, so works perfectly for kids who could get overstimulated or tired. - MacKenzie McCarver
Animals are well taken care of, store is clean and the staff is helpful. This store also has a great selection of pet items! - Susan Abbott
When I first found this place I was excited because of the variety and friendly staff.. But after several visits and alot of money spent I had some issues with my aquarium. - Jerry Story
About a two hour visit. Buy tickets in advance so you don't have to wait in line. Really well done with lots of detail bit in a digestible format. - Max Wenneker
Great place for the kiddos and food trucks! Bring your own ping pong paddles and balls, golf putters and golf balls and games for the lawn. They provide books and chess and kids playground. - Naima
This was such a fun museum to go to! Be sure to come early so you can have enough time to go to each exhibit. The cafe food was surprisingly good and be sure to go to the sports exhibit. - Khristina Quimod
