Deetjen's Big Sur Inn

Adorable rustic charm in the heart of Big Sur. The lack of Wi-Fi was intimidating at first, but surprisingly nice to let go of for the stay. The evening fire was perfect and I slept like a baby.

Charming, rustic Inn with incredibly friendly staff . Lack of wifi is definitely an inconvenience, but perfect if you are trying to unplug. Restaurant is a must for breakfast and dinner .

We had the Eggs Benedict at breakfast time. The Deetjens staff very confidently recommended them and they were in actual fact amazing. But not only that - the space is charming and the atmosphere too

A one-of-a-kind little inn . The second-floor rooms (we stayed in Chateau Fiasco) feel like fantasy treehouses. Read the journals from former guests and then write your own entry.

No wifi here is perfect! Go on a hike off the fire road for some spectacular nature and views . Super cozy inn ! One of a kind.

A total step back in time. You’ll feel like you’re dining in The Prancing Pony. Take solace in knowing there isn’t internet here - it’s truly rustic .

Restaurant serves Breakfast 8AM-12 on weekdays, 8-12:30 on weekends. Stuffed Raspberry Cream Cheese French toast was yummy, but they are known for their Benedict's. Rustic charm and gorgeous foliage.

Exceptional food: we tried the Roast Bacon-wrapped Pork Tenderloin and the Paella . Both goregeous. We fitted in dessert too - totally stuffed but worth it!

Amazing place, decor is full of details - you can study them throughout the dinner , charming atmosphere, great food!

Just the essentials cabin experience. The fire stove is a cozy touch, though hard to keep going. The restaurant is delicious--came for dinner .
