Great cabins , you can sleep by the fire which is one of the best thing this hotel offers. The food is nice
One bonus of the Lodge is that it’s located in Pfeiffer Big Sur State Park , which has a ton of hiking trails http://bit.ly/Zr8zjB
Reasonably-priced cabins and very cheap drive-in tent sites can be found here. If getting a cabin , ask for one with a fireplace !
Our lodge had a fire place in it, which was really nice to use at night when it got colder
This place is so dated. Location is wonderful in the park . But my thermostat didn’t work and it was freezing. They were unable to fix it in time. Showers are terrible, but I loved my skylight.
The room was very hot during the day and cool at night. Clean but a bit dated
The restaurant is slightly overpriced (as expected) but the food is surprisingly good.
Free Wifi at Fernwood Resort half a mile to the north
It's a nice big campground with bathrooms, running water, and a small store. - Jonathan
Tiny waterfall but nice walk in the forest. - eric bornemann
My favorite hotel in Big Sur. Well appointed rooms, communal fire pit and access to the river behind the restaurant. Romantic, cozy and well kept. - Ranu Rajkarnikar
The blueberry pancakes were great . And do try their Mocha. Just out the world ! - Srikant Chandrasekaran
Restaurant serves Breakfast 8AM-12 on weekdays, 8-12:30 on weekends. Stuffed Raspberry Cream Cheese French toast was yummy, but they are known for their Benedict's. Rustic charm and gorgeous foliage. - Natasha T
On a clear day you can see the ocean. Great views of the valley and a pleasant hike up and back. Easy trail for all of the family. - Damian Bayona
The hike up valley view is worth the pit stop. Full restaurant and gift shop on site. Helpful staff. Killer scenery - Damian Bayona
Come for the view and the Ambrosiaburger (rare), stay for the wine. Not cheap, but worth every penny. - Tom Sutton
