Honestly, I wasn't expecting much--we picked it out of convenience to the movies . It was terrific! The squid salad was excellent and the food was deliciously fresh. I'd love to come back.
They're back. Huge servings for price. Sushi and sashimi for 1, $34 includes 3 types of rolls and also soup and salad . Enough for 2 easily. Loud spot.
Always great food and be sure to ask the waiter for any off the menu special recommendations. Be sure to make a reservation on the weekends because it gets packed! Request David- he is awesome!
Very reasonably priced and good sushi/sashimi! Order the "Sushi for two!" It is a huge platter of sushi and sashimi and is enough for four people! The only con is that the wines are not good.
Not the best in NY but still very good and great value for money . We were 4 and took the meal for 3, it was too much!
Without a doubt the omakase sushi sashimi platters are the way to go. Although not on the menu , it comes with miso soup , salad and fried oysters . A tremendous value.
Sashimi deluxe $27 incl soup and salad , half UFO (riceless) roll and 3 pieces of seared salmon and 16 pieces of seasonal fish
The quality of the fish is fantastic! Fresh and yummy. And the lunch specials on chirashi , sushi and sashimi are so cheap for the amount of food you get :)
The "Manhattan " rolls are a favorite. This place is an overall good sushi joint . If you are looking for a good spot with friends, this is it.
Nice atmosphere and an extensive, almost too-big-to-navigate menu. I really like the Mardi Gras Gone Wild special roll ad the sashimi tacos .
Everything rocks at Kotobuki ‼ Sushi master Yoshi has been creating the best sushi in NY since he first opened in Happauge
They are still working out the kinks as a newbie in the area & don't have brown rice rolls , but the spicy tuna & Grinch rolls were unreal. The miso soup is also delicious. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
An ample wine list focusing on sake by the glass or the bottle also features red wine and white wine .
Great sushi . Get the sushi for one and split it with two. Dumplings were also delicious
Sushi deluxe platter, tuna on crispy rice , and the pickled vegetable salad
The sushi & sashimi special for 3 is more than enough for 4 people. Quality and quantity!
The food, the service--everything is great here! Love the omakase entree. Def will leave you full and happy :).
The Japanese tacos are delish and the Sushi platter for one is actually for 3 people!!!
$22 chirashi , worth it. soup was cold, salad dressing was on point, and actual chirashi had a nice fresh selection. my friends who ordered rolls were not satisfied, but I was!
The Chirashi (pictured) is an amazing deal for the generous amount and variety of delicious sashimi you get.
Get the sushi for two...but split it with four people. It's enough sushi to feed a small village .
Best sushi in town ! And it’s reasonably priced. Out of control roll is really good.
The sashimi deluxe was excellent quality and an awesome deal. We liked it better than ordering 3 separate rolls.
The tuna "burger " was great. The k-Mac was too heavy for my taste (too much mayo ). Good Japanese beer selection .
Sushi is good, but what's the point? There's a giant crowd to get in just, mainly people from Long Island . You either come here to be seen, or see someone from B-school
Sushi and sashimi combo is all you need to know. Service is slow but well worth the wait.
Sushi & sashimi combo 4 nigiri , 8 sashimi ,salmon carpaccio , california & u.f.o. Roll. Includes salad , soup an d green tea $23. (dinner )
Oysters on the appetizer menu is a MUST. Sushi/Sashimi combo special for 1 is enough for 2 people.
The sushi + sashimi platter is massive. And delicious. For 1 is more than adequate for 2 people
Get the sushi and sashimi special for one. It is enough to feed two people easily and it is delicious.
ITS OPEN AGAIN!!! Must try - oysters (my fav in NYC), tuna pizza , yellowtail
This is a die-for sushi ! K-mac sliders & spicy tuna sandwich are absolutely mind blowing!
One of the best sushi places in Manhattan. Too bad you cannot try everything at once ;)
#FabuLIST Mac sliders , spicy tuna pizza , yellowtail jalapeño sashimi , and any of the rolls!
If you aren't getting the spicy tuna pizza , I have one question for you: why aren't you getting the spicy tuna pizza ?
Just as amazing as the long island branches. sashimi lunch a bargain at $14 includes salad , soup and green tea .
K-Mac sliders and sashimi salad (pictured) are crazy good
The spicy tuna pizza roll was incredible! Highly recommend!
Good pricewise but it leads to a very long wait for both table and food. It's also extremely loud ; I felt my voice going as I chatted whilst waiting for my dinner to arrive.
Mediocre sushi and insanely crowded . Pay the extra bucks and head a few blocks over to Sushi Dojo.
The sashimi deluxe is really great value - high quality fish !
Wow!! Fantastic new sushi place that just opened on Thursday. Yellowtail Jalapeno is to die for!
highly recommend the spicy tuna pizza as an appetizer
K-2 deep-fried soft shell crab topped with julienne crab sticks , cucumber and mayo with side of Tuna & avocado salad . $14.50
They have a yellowtail ceviche with jalapeños that's not on the menu . It's a "must get".
Hamachi Kama appetizer was delicious, sushi rolls are pretty skimp with the fish . Too much rice .
Thumbs up on yellowtail jalapeno and the "crazy" tuna and salmon rolls . Service is mehh, menu is way too big and confusing, but food is good
Amazing deal on sashimi combo - great price for high quality fish !
Usually I cant tell the difference, but the sushi here is so good. Try the special rolls
the tuna pizza and mac sliders are to die for!
