A great place to dine (with your dog!) if you've just finished a hike along the C&O Canal . Even for an upscale restaurant , they did not mind that we were dressed in workout clothes . Food amazing.
The beer garden in the back patio is great for casual dining ! They have an outdoor bar , grill menu with wraps and salads , and are dog & kid friendly ! They also have live music Fri & Sat nights!
I enjoy their crab cakes and their oysters , they are simply divine. Old Anglers Inn is a fisherman's haven, and I will be back soon for more. Cheers! ????
Higher end lunch and dinner restaurant with beautiful patio . M 5:30-9:30pm / Tu-Th 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30-9:30pm / F-Sa 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30-10pm / Su 11:30am-2:30pm, 5:30-9pm
Main courses not well balanced but nice portions. I had meat and potatoes . That's it no salad included or side a greens. Meat was delicious though cooked to perfection and mashed potatoes .
The beer garden is a cute place for a drink and a snack after hiking the Billy Goat Trail .
All entrees and appetizers are superb--for brunch , try the Eggs Benedict with Crab Meat . And if you want a great coffee drink (and aren't driving), ask for coffee with Tia Maria.
Roaring fireplace , great bar/lounge for a fun, casual evening, great new wine list . If you want a romantic evening , fancy menu, head upstairs. Lots of changes there in the last year. Read more
Tranquil area. Nice place to enjoy scenery after bicycling in the park , The decor is lovely. Very good food but overpriced for sure.
2/2012 - the risotto with Colorado lamb shoulder is so perfect in every foodie way. Highly recommend.
Super quaint, dog-friendly patio . Bring your patience though, as service was really slow (like 4 tables left)... But burger & our server were both good.
Poached shrimp salad , Wonderful!
Sit in the beer garden . Amazing burger . Dog friendly .
Expensive, door man gave us a look when we came in like "r u gonna eat here?" $70 for lunch for two, no drinks, but it was pretty tasty. Get the roast beef and brie or the cream of asparagus !
Their creme brûlée is amazing.
A great spot for a romantic dinner .
Since Chef Palermo has come here it is more and more amazing every time!
Garden is nice during warm weather, but the service is abysmal. Entrees and appetizers served simultaneously; long waits for water, cutlery, bread , etc. Mediocre food. Not worth the high cost.
Wasn't impressed. I watched the guy on the grill smoke and then handle the food without washing his hands, the guy in the kitchen eat then handle food and my med rare burger 20 min later was well done
Sit outside on the casual patio with your dog after a hike
The calamari . Perfectly prepared.
Pro tip: crab cakes . Nothing else comes close.
Great wine list !!
Wines ,salmon ,muscles
The sauted foie gras is excellent.
A bit overpriced for what you get????♂️
Incredibly rude host.
The beer garden food not worth the time nor money
Slow service, rude staff , and for those prices I would expect a freaking tablecloth. And please bring some extra bread while I wait one hour for my food to come.
This place is way overpriced and has crappy service...keep driving

Very nice restaurant. The food is great and affordable. Great drinks too! - Omavi Ndoto
Start your hike early to beat the crowds. My favorite trail is Section A, it's just so beautiful! - Luis de Niz
Great place for a barbecue with friends. Grills are avaliable. Park closes at sundown - Erik Brok
