Chicago Marriott Downtown Magnificent Mile

Batch 19 is on draft here! It is only found in 7 bars in Chicago! It is a Pre-Prohibition style lagers . Bold, Hoppy, Surprisingly balanced! Definitely give it a try! Yummm.

Convenient location. Nice staff . Soft bed and no form pillows that hurt your body. :( Might be a new Marriott thing, but what’s the deal with disposable dishes and utensils for all room service ??

Concierge lounge is a plus. Front desk staff is awesome. Great location. Kitchen 90% made from scratch w beehive on roof. Wifi & cell data pretty much nonexistent in rooms. Beds super comfy . 4 outta 5

This hotel is located right in the heart of the Magnificent Mile. We parked our car and walked everywhere the whole time we were here. The lobby is beautiful and the views are fantastic!

Great views of the city , nice big windows! Very friendly staff and huge new gym ! Best hotel gym I've seen.

If you're coming by a car you'll have to pay a parking fee which ranges between $46 - $65 because there are no free parking spots whatsoever up in Chicago's downtown Make sure to include it in ur math

In the Lobby bar they have their own brews. They had a Honey Wheat beer that was pretty good for only $5.75 (cheap for Chi standards). Being a fan of honey brown and honeyweiss, this was excellent.

Rush lounge in the Lobby is always crowded . Great place to hang with friends & watch games. Staff is excellent. The rooms could use some upgrading, though (for the $ you're paying to stay there).

If you are staying in River North, do Priceline. Everytime we bid on a Saturday 4-star hotel , we have gotten $89 per night or less and ended w/ Marriott, Westin, or Sheraton. All excellent.

Good location in a big city for starters. Rooms are small, but for a 200 a night Marriott I'll live w it. No wifi in rooms stinks, but you should be out anyway. Good view from 45th floor..

My flight was delayed 4.5 hrs. My room was still there. So was my car at airport ! Echo Limousine tracks flights, 773-774-1074. Professional service at 3:00 am !!!

We just learned that they have a 90% scratch kitchen. They make their own cheese , beer , wine , and honey (there's a beehive on the roof!).

Great grab and go breakfast bar . Loved that they had GF options .

Patricia was our server in the Hotel Restaurant . She was Fantastic! Very knowledgeable and courteous. You should ask for her.

Overall not bad, great location. Room was small but clean and at least I was in a remodeled one. Huge positive. The valet is really really slow, the restaurant is really really bad.

It may not be on the room service menu, but the Chef here makes a MEAN grilled cheese on wheat sandwich . Just ask! It's delish. =)

Exercising travellers beware: there are bikes and treadmills , but no cable weights or free weights. Seriously.

Bid high and bid often! Also be sure to use the computers to check in for your flights home on Thursday!

Restaurant The Harvest was good. You get to watch your food being made.

if you need to order room service , go for the burger on pretzels roll with beer mayo . Yum! rooms are really small though and hallways are a bit dark.

The staff is very friendly , but the hotel is run down. Pealing wallpaper in the room, mold in the bathroom and the hallways are small and outdated. The room service food seemed to be microwave meals.

The FedEx office here is willing & able to charge you handling fees whether you're staying in the hotel or not.

Great location, but parts of it feel like they need to be updated.

Front Desk staff was extremely rude. They made multiple authorizations to my card in excess of the cost of the stay and then acted like they didn't know what I was talking about when I complained!
