Novotel Amsterdam City

Very friendly staff . Extremely comfortable rooms & free wifi all over the property. Plus very conveniently located near the Tram station to take you anywhere you need to go. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel . Location is good if you're planning to attend a conference at the conference centre or at the RAI but not if you're planning to spend some time at the heart of the city

Great bar , Vasilis is great baristi. The rooms are a bit small and it's 20 mins away from the city centre by tram , but the breakfast is very very nice. The ataff is very helpful.

Their winter special; free hot chocolate when you check in, is good in theory. Downside is, in my 4 days here i've yet to find any staff that knows about foursquare and the offer :(

Breakfast is very nice, we also had als dinner arrangement for 20 euros for starter and main course. This was pricewise definitely worth it!

Very nice hotel ! Convenient to the train and metro as well . Just a few minutes walk to the train station with a direct line to the airport .

Great service at check-in and restaurant . Wifi in rooms slow and connection gets lost often. Wifi at lobby ok. Park at public parking next to hotel parking to save (public 8.70€ per day, hotel 22€!)

Breakfast is recommended! Choices of egg , fried rice , ham , cheese , cereal, salad , bread , drinks. :)

Don't be lazy for breakfast on Saturday morning if you don't want to wait in this long queue. It is 09:30 by the way.

A 3+ stars hotel , not more. Recently refurbished , Lounge bar and hall look pretty nice, while bathrooms still would need some more magics. Free wifi . 22 euros for breakfast are pretty high

Big hotel . Fantastic interior design of the lobby and breakfast spot . But keep in mind the standard room for 3 people are very small.

Book through internet even if you are in front of receptionist to get a special offer. What a human being is for? To tell internet is better than she or he? Hmm...

OK but if you plan to stay over in A'dam (for work not private) the Crown Plaza remains the best! Full comfort & new..

Nice hotel . I find rooms at the end of wings seem to have slower Wi Fi speeds regardless of floor. Staff really friendly and helpful

The sushi and wok dishes at the Asian restaurant are amazing. You have to try them out for yourself!

Order the extra cold Heineken @ bar and try to sit close to the lobby if you want to use the free WiFi (connection is best there - although still bad)

Huge hotel . Okay, nothing too fancy . A bit too far from the centre for tourists . Rooms are clean but basic and the Executive rooms are not necessarily any better. Don't upgrade unless it's free.

Just a mediocre Novotel hotel you can see everywhere like expensive McDonald's. Top floor has nice view but not worth waiting the elevator so long. Staffs are not that smart either.

Rooms are clean and modern. Elevators are slow and erratic. Stop for no reason. Miss floors. Reverse directions. Long waits .

Beds aren't very comfortable , rooms feel cheap & food is just okay. Front desk staff are nice and proximity to transit is great though. Not terrible, but the "four star" claim is a bit of a stretch.
