This museum in Little Tokyo has a wonderful retrospective on the 90's right now. Well curated. Loved it

This stunning museum was once a police vehicle warehouse , until transformed by Frank Gehry in the 1980s into what has been called "a prince among spaces".

I love this huge warehouse type space. I saw two of mt favorite shows there: The Dennis Hopper Retrospective (Opening Night) and 'Art in The Streets'.

There seems to be some major lines for 'Art In The Streets' show. If you go to the MOCA Grand location, you can buy tix w/ no line , grab a free shuttle to this MOCA, walk right in, passed that line .

Dubbed the "temporary contemporary ," this MOCA venue is a spectacular space for contemporary art . Only thing that could make it better is if Burden's "Exposing the Foundation" was ALWAYS on view ;)
