Spicy Kotteri Ramen = delicious. The broth definitely has Sichuan peppercorns in it, which was great lingering burning mouth feel. Spice level 3 was perfect for me and I like spice.
Veggie ramen is soooo good, with a flavor profile that progesses as you eat. Tip from the owner: eat the greens like a salad first. Let the butter melt into the broth as you eat, without mixing it.
Like most others, I recommend the mala kotteri ramen . Broth is so flavorful, and the char siu (pork ) is delicious. Definitely a bit more modern ramen , but I loved it.
Great ramen shop. The spicy ramen broth has a touch of Szechuan peppercorn . Hite on draft and Echigo Koshihikari in bottle.
Get a ramen kit during and make Ooink ramen at home!! We’ve been missing out on ramen during COVID-19 due to it not really being takeout friendly (soggy noodles are sad) — but Ooink’s kits are great!!
Get Ooink’s specially Kotteri Ramen . If you like spicy , get Spicy Kotteri Ramen . Yum!
