The lobby of the hotel is famous, and for good reason - it's beauty and grandeur like something out of Rome, and that emphasis on beauty extends to the rooms. Pricey , but a true destination hotel .

Great buffet breakfast at escolata. Fresh juices are Yum. Didnt quite enjoy the coffee but overall a great breakfast place. Kudos to the bakery chef , the croissants , danish & bread variety is great.

The steak I had it was 6/10. I am surprised to see 5 stars hotel served that kind of steak . Maybe I am a traveler and I have many steaks all over the world and I know what’s excellent and ok steak .

This hotel is beautiful (if a little dated), with luxury touches and amazing customer service. I asked about a spa treatment at 8:30pm and they were able to take me on short notice! In-room massages .

I sat at the lobby no one approach if i want to order. Access to pool you need to walk thru the lobby and escolta with swimsuit attire make a private access. Escolta good but pricey not many choices

If you stay here often make sure you get the Peninsular Membership Card. Large discounts on room rates and also meals and drinks at the various restaurants at the hotel .

LOVE this hotel . Ask for Miguel at the front desk and order a San Miguel Pilsner at the pool. Coldest beer ever

Just everything is outstanding

Sticky date pudding if you want dessert ! It comes with two plates with the bottom plate warm to heat the caramel sauce . Brilliant!

If you are going to stay here, get the executive floor access upgrade. It’s worth it. You’ll save on meals.

Everything was wonderful

One of the very best tea I've tasted, a little pricey though.

Be it service of the staff , breakfast quality, room conditions (even though it's just the superior room), I'm give 4.5 star for all. No point spending a lot more at shang. Peninsula is good enough :)

Escolta doesn't overwhelm you with buffet options , but each thing is wonderfully cooked.

The new gym and spa is an addiction! Oh the pool bar is an anticipation. I find this place so relaxing I can work on my best ideas :)

Go to Spices restaurant in the lobby. It has an outdoor gazebo overlooking a garden . Also, get the mango sticky rice dessert !

The pineaple cheesecake here is to die for. Yum!

About the room settings? If it is in the US, I can say it's ok. But here's Asia! Old and not elegant at all, amenities are poor too.

Halo Halo at the Club Lounge is the best.

Get up early and have breakfast . Then get a good spot at the poolside !
