Excellent food and service, high standard of food, good views of castle
The food is great, so is the service. But the location, with a view above the rooftops is amazing!
Visit on an August evening and you can watch the Tattoo fireworks as you enjoy your digestifs on the terrace above the museum
Good lunch options all around. Sit by the windows to enjoy the view of the city .

Disappointing afternoon tea . Pleasant room with a good view , but hard to believe that it's from the same stable as the excellent Rhubarb at Prestonfield.
Nice view but the noise level from a bunch of trashy hens parties ruined any chance for enjoyment or conversation.

Overrated view as castle is too far off. The set dinner menu is abysmal - how can mussels be a main course?!
