"This is a top notch, very moderately priced bowl of ramen . Everything is spot on, from noodles , to broth, to pork belly , and it has just the right amount of spices." Chef Jared Cannon Read more
Liked the karai (spicy miso ) better than the shoyu which had a more oily broth. Noodles were cooked al dente ! Will have to try the others next time.
Some of the best ramen in the city , if not THE best. Great shishitos and pork buns as well .
Newly item; Soft Shell Crab Buns ! Verdict: they pack a bit of punch with a spicy sauce that is a little too overpowering. Otherwise, still worth a try and tasty. But $7 for one crab is pushing it.
Easy walk from my hotel the club quarter hotel . Having Shio Tonkotsu with premium Japanese green tea for my dinner . ????
Tono (pork cheek ) in Shoyu broth. Absolutely delicious. Would have liked the broth to be hotter though. Otherwise I think this ramen has depth and recommend it.
Ramen is excellent
Pork buns are amazing !! Had the pork cheek ramen special it was life changing. . Treat your self! Cash only folks and bring plenty kinda pricey !
Tasty ramen . Good vibes. Friendly staff . Unfortunately no fish options.
Grab a window seat and watch Philly go by as you enjoy the pork buns and spicy miso
Tasty ramen with very good soft boiled egg which is a must-try! Tonkotsu pork is succulent and tender!
Everything here is amazing! Whenever I'm in town I visit. Get the karai ! Just the right amount of spicy
In Philly this is one of the best options for Ramen so far. Karai is the way to go.
Spicy miso (karai ) all the way! Add on the soft boiled egg , free of charge if you forgo the pork belly
Great place when you can't decide where to eat but expect to stay a bit for the ramen to come out. Not recommended for 30 minute lunch break time wise.
Love the soft boiled egg add on!
Their new menu is awesome. Get the chef 's special and enjoy.
Get pork buns , or spider buns if you like soft shell crab . Both are amazing.
The spicy (karai ) broth tastes better than the salt (shio ) broth. The bamboo and seaweed toppings are good. Egg is axually soft boiled, not
The curry ramen is mushroom based. Very good.
Love this place! Get the pork buns and karai ramen special
Get a large, with extra noodles of you're so inclined. Much better value that way.
Good ramen but you have to order at counter, and put away the bowls and sort the chopsticks and trash out yourself.
Karai is my favorite. Shio is good too but sometimes I find it a bit salty.
I can't believe it took me 23 years to try a pork bun . My life is complete.
Karai is the best, add on an egg and extra pork , it's so filling
Yummy ramen and bao
Pregaming with a nice bowl of #ramen before @wheatus at @worldcafelive tonight...
Really delicious Karai (spicy miso ). Fast and friendly staff !
Thought this was a lot better than Cheu Noodle Bar . And Cheu is dope.
Great Ramen
Shio tonkotsu broth is so good.
