Massive. Most impressed with castle and surrounding grounds . Interior not as big and glamorous in person as in Downton Abbey show but totally worth the effort to see.

A great festive location with an amazing history. Great to experience a living house that continues to evolve.

Everything is good here, just like on television . Great high tea .

Stunningly beautiful Gothic stately home. Famous as Downtown Abbey. Has an Egyptian exhibition of the early works of Lord Caernarvonshire & Howard Carter of Tutakamun fame.

Make sure that you visit the Greek Folly for an amazing view of the house. Also the secret garden is spectacular!

Great to see it but didn’t seems as well presented as national trust houses.

Beautiful well-preserved castle about an hour by train from London. Bring a picnic and enjoy the massive garden (skip the meh cafe food). Also, this is Downton Abbey.

This place is crawling with really, really old people who walk very, very slowly. Being a big bag of patience.

Fine fireworks

Travelled 115 miles to get here, only to be told at the gate that they are 'too full'. Ruined what could've been a great day. If you come, have a back-up plan. Or better still, refuse to come. Grrrr.
