This is a great place to both hike and take a swim . Even during drought season there are spots deep enough to jump off the cliffs and swim in. Beware of snakes near brushy areas though.

Walk around. Find a spot. When the weather is nice the water is crystal clear and cool. Perfect for a hot summer day. (Usually best a day or two after it rains though)

This is a beautiful area if Austin that is just minutes away from "the city ." A place I can get away for a while and be in nature.

Liz Kogan

Take plenty of water and when its not drought season wear water proof shoes/boots for the creek crossings.

A fun area for anyone visiting Austin who wants to get some exploration in. The creek is low in a valley, making it easy to forget you are in a metropolitan area. A fun area for families and pets! - Sarah Hibbard
