Carpaccio was one of the best we have tried in Italy, Fetuccını was perfect, the wine was excellent and all the other things with final lemonchello was amazing. Do not forget to make reservation
Antipastis were so good especially carpaccio but i cant say this for fettucine . Seems like a tourist trap,20€ for an ordinary fettucine ..if you still want to go be sure you've booked a table!☺️
Tourist spot. The pasta they are famous for, Fettuccini Alfredo (20€) is made at the table and tastes very good but I hope you like your pasta scotta (mushy).
Don’t miss the fettuccine Alfredo of course! Was a great experience :) (better than expected despite being a tourist magnet)
Sometimes I wish I could go back Rome again just for this amazing pasta . The original Alfredo is the best that I ever eaten in my life - so far. <3
Opened in 1907, the restaurant is where its namesake and original owner Alfredo Di Lelio invented the classic pasta dish, fettucine alfredo , before selling it on to its current owners in 1943.
Birthplace of fettuccine Alfredo . If you’re like me and you’re obsessed with eating foods where they were invented, it’s worth the €20. It’s rich and a meal on its own. Don’t bother getting more food.
If you are in Rome you should have dinner here. It is more than perfect.
The food was so delicious. The Service was good. It's recommended
Lovely place and area. A little bit expensive in comparing to restaurants in Piazza Campo De Fiori. Food is good too.
Definitely, try the "Original fettuccine Alfredo ". If you have space, try also the "Tarte au Citron".
Great service, quality of the meat (sirloin ) was top, wine also very good...
Best Fettuccine Alfredo , recommend to try the Aubergine Casserole , staff very professional and friendly .
The classic alfredo is good but not woow, the beef fillet was 8/10 bufflo starter 7/10
Love it. It is not only a restaurant it is food history. Awsome place ????????????????????
original alfredo is one time experience, Sliced cold veal with tuna sauce 9/10 , cacio e pepe 8/10 and mozerella not recommended
Magnificent Alfredo sauce .. Very cozy atmosphere . Friendly service . Definetely will visit again.
People eat here because fettuccine alfredo was invented by the original owner . We enjoyed the atmosphere but the food was truly average. This was our least favorite and most expensive meal in Rome.
you must try it if you are in Rome
Alfredo pasta was amazing and tiramisu best I’ve ever had
The yummiest fettuccine Alfredo ever!! ????????????
We had the fettuccine Alfredo and the carbonara . The Alfredo was ok but the carbonara was so salty even without the guanciale that was scarce. Too touristic for my taste.
The best fettucine alfredo in the world. Because it’s the original????
Contrary to some reviews the service was great and the service charge is indicated on the menu.
The yummiest fettuccine Alfredo ever????
If this is fettucine , I've never had fettucine before! Delicious!
I have tried two type of Pasta (fettuccine / pasta with red sauce ) less than expectations 6/10
Excellent food, great service and atmosphere
Cream does not go into Alfredo ! Come here to learn how to emulgate the sauce.
The yummiest fettuccine Alfredo ever????????
The best and original alfredo
Perfetto scilian chees cake fettuchini alfredo and Armann
Fettucine alfredo rocks! You must try if you ever stop by Rome.
Average and overpriced food. Fettuccini Alfredo might be the ‘original’, but it tastes of nothing but cream (which tastes like nothing). Cacio e Pepe was bland too.
They accept children, but they arent friendly .
Nothing special about the place, food is too expensive . We had chicken which was too little and not tasty and fettuccine which was ok but way too expensive for €20.
I’ve been better ones before, so it doesnt mean the old ones serves better ;) Has a legendary name but nothing far sorry ????♀️
Yummmmmy!! This is where all the Alfredo started
Must order the mozzarella
Wow, that is all I have to say! ❤️
My mother makes better homemade pasta ....
Over priced - tourist trap.... Waiter added €12 for bread , replaced requested wine with house wine . When challenged €40 taken off bill, why not just treat people visiting with respect??
Nice touristic place!
Must try Fettuchini Alfredo Scala!! Not cheap , but elegant..2nd dish can be Regatoni ???????? atmosphere and service are excellent????????
Nothing is special food is overrated, service is very bad and slow.. not recommend
I think overrated, especially 20 eur for a pasta . You miss nothing if you dont go.
Fettucine .....
Very expensive for what it offers!! We tried carbonara and fettuccini Alfredo and both tasted bad!!
The staff have bad attitude especially the two men in the front desk, food was bad and service was slow
Fettuccine all'Alfredo , mitiche !!
Tasty bruschettas, tasty cheeses and meats, nice atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and the best tiramisu in Rome! Rich in taste, perfect! Lovely experience! - Krista Elza Putniņa
One of the best restaurants in Fontana trevi. Amazing truffle pasta, bruschetta pomodore and to die for tiramisu. Best service in rome :) - Salma Massoud
Good atmosphere. Lots of energy. Loved it there. Sit at a restaurant with a glass of wine and just enjoy the surroundings - Mary Grace
One of the best gelato in Rome! Can be very crowded near the afternoon. But if you try after 20:00 there’s always fewer people. You can ask to try any flavor you want. - Ελευθερία Ζανιδάκη
Most amazing and beautiful fountain! A must see of rome. The size is impressive. Newly remodeled. Always a crowd around is the only negative. - Sofia Cabrita
