Great real ale pub . Brilliant food menu, though not overly cheap , but worth it. Under new management and looking much better for it!
Lively pub popular with students. Great real ale .
Great value vegan food and good range of local beer .
A colleague of mine's got his order rejected just because he was few seconds late. They said, ‘kitchen's closed already’.
Two meals for £6.95, yes please!
Food is cheaper than Gosta, but service tends to be a little less friendly .
Worst pub ever because of their new policy: not allowed to order unless you show them your passport or if you are British. Only passports accepted, no driving licence, any other ID or work permits!
Beware, new menu and prices gone up. Most meals at least a fiver now.
Just wanted to counter the comments about rude staff , they were relatively chirpy tonight.
Rude staff in the mornings!
Very rude staff !
My favourite little pub in Birmingham city centre, friendly staff, excellent choice of drinks & relaxed atmosphere. - Gav Chahal
Like its sister pub, the Lord Clifden, the food is generous and top notch. There's always two or three great real ales on and the cosy lounge can trap you there for hours. - James Wright
Burgers are very affordable, tasty and come with some of the nicest chips I've eaten. - Matthew McConkey
