The chocolate cake is a throwback to the days of a comfort Sara Lee confection (for the ones old enough to relate). Weekday afternoons are quiet and great for hanging out at the café .

Love all the pastries , and one of the only other places that uses (and sells) the iconic Liberty beans in their coffee . Love the flat whites , & best for quiet midday pick-ups & solitude, writing done.

This place is under rated. Very nice and less busy versus the others around here. Plenty of outdoor / semi-outdoor seats. The poached egg came too creamy tho.

When ordering, ask them to take it easy on the hollandaise sauce because they drown their entrees in it.

Best seats in the house: at the back, by the loo, where the morning sun shines through the glass and lights up the space. This, coming from one who likes natural light

Egg Sally is great, because I always want salmon ! Haven't ate much of anything else though. Not so impressed by the Mocha coffee quality.

Probably a good place for a meet up for brunch . But if you are looking for have some good coffee . This is probably not the best place for it. They need a real barista to take over the coffee station.

The pork cheek sandwich is a triumph of simplicity but the coffee definitely has issues. Even a double shot piccolo tastes too milky . Flock should start by finding a darker roast.

Instead of the eggs sally with salmon , they made it with a portabello mushroom for me since I don't eat fish . Thanks guys, good stuff!

the team is still getting their act together so unless you've time/ patience, get your coffee fix @ Orange Thimble. The Iced Mocha is so-so & gryphon tea is more expensive than a cuppa!

The pork gruyere sandwich is pretty awesome. If you can, ask for some mustard to give it that extra kick.

Nice ambience and coffee is getting better - still not really there. However, it is the place in Tiong Bahru where I would prefer spending an hour with a friend.

Coffee standards should improve as of now as Flock starts using coffee from Liberty Coffee and their baristas undergo training .

Pork cheek and gruyere sandwich is delicious. Coffee is only so-so. Get a better cup of java from the nearby Forty Hands.

Scrambled egg served was pretty runny for otherwise a good breakfast . Coffee was good though. Nice, smooth and strong.

Other than having no gst and service charge, I think people should give this place a miss. Tried the pork cheek sandwich and eggs and toast , and they weren't really appetizing at all.

Let's just say, coffee is not up to my standard. It's service is super slow. Lacks in coffee art , barista not too sure abt their own blend. Don't bother coming.

Had the big bfast . $21.5. It's really bad. Egg white tastes/feels rubbery. Sausage is bland. Bacon is soggy. Now I wish I have McD bfast instead.
