Very tranquil spot to relax with lunch , with benches , deckchairs and walls to sit on. Right next to Embankment station so easy to get to as well .

A very beautiful place for a picnic or a nice read. But careful, when they say the park is closing, it is closing! I had to jump of the fence when i was locked in once 😂

During July, you can enjoy The Tennis Championships at Wimbledon on a large flat screen monitor here. Kick back, relax with a beverage on the lawn and enjoy grass court tennis .

There are plenty of small spaces in London to get away from the city . This is one of the best. Good scenery, quite and not too busy.

Turn right out of the tube and never get jostled or breathe in the fumes of the Strand again. You pop out by the Cole Hole where there is a crossing to get you to Covent Garden

If you want to escape the city , hide here & read the paper, enjoy your coffee , or simply just take a break. Public restrooms are to your right as you exit the park & South Bank is right across

Nice gardens to enjoy on a nice day. While sitting on the grass you can feel the underground trains go past.

Be careful when taking pictures around here, a group of homeless guys turned aggressive, convinced they had been papped by me and demanded I pay them royalties.

Sometimes there's open-air music from the stage, sit back in the deck chairs by Villiers St. & relax!
