Functional option in the University/Academy area; reasonable ale range, food decent, nice outdoors. Ale/beer fans should go a bit further to Sandbar; those going to see a band might prefer Big Hands.

Bit smoky near the door to the outside seating area downstairs but great atmosphere and good food. The red wine 's not bad either :)

Gets very crowded but they sell Tsingtao and they have a large beer garden

If you are going to a gig this is a great place for a drink, don't forget the tickets!

They don't put out the lunch menus until around 11:30.. they have an extensive beer selection

Fantastic bacon sandwich in a lightly toasted muffin , bacon was lean with a tasty coffee for £2.50

If you are going to visit the kro bar on a regular basis ask for a discount card for £3 at the bar

15% discount on food if you show a University staff card

Kro eggs benedict was terrible, I felt a bit sick after eating it. Usually there is some strange smell inside. I've been at least three times and I never was satisfied.
