Visited for lunch and though the space is tight the food more than makes up for it. Great selection of beers and the lamb burger is fantastic.
The sharply tailored bar staff are a nice touch. And the raised seating area with one table is a great place to spend an evening. Otherwise, the place is way too crowded for its own good.
WARNING: Your lunch will never be the same. Launching The Tavern's all day summer Lobster club sandwich ! Only £14.95 with hand cut chips . You're welcome :)
Nice old tavern with an interesting history. Large dining downstairs and a lovely nook to hide out in in the street bar .
Really liked that place. The atmosphere was brilliant and also the gentlemen on the bar section was very friendly . Hope to get back soon.
The Bleeding Heart Tavern venison scotch egg is on Time Out London top 5!
Nice find for a Friday evening. Had a great steak . Perfect for drinks and some food.
Try the eggs benedictine with brown toast instead of muffin (sans janbon)
I recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs but the service can be slow, be prepared to wait!
Great set menu
Can be a quiet spot for a date/drinks with conversation. Food is so so.
Great coffee
Best dancing this side of Gangnam
It's also good for breakfast
Nice ambience and food is spot on

Great Fish 'n Chips . Merci pour le service rapide! ;-)
Very reasonably priced Thai. Recommend the set menus for lunch. - Will Hancock
Lovely cosy pub with outdoor seating. Nice mulled wine and I like the Modelo drink they do :) - Mona
Wonderful Fullers Brewery pub. The English breakfasts are gorgeous. Great real ales. - Carl Griffin
Great members room, with a friendly core of regulars. If in doubt, let the staff pick out some recommendations. Book new outturn events early as they sell out quickly. - Sean D
Best sea bass main and snails starters in recent London memory. Good service. Genuine French bistro style...though service is better! Really good choice for couples and small groups. - Bijan Young
If they have their guest ale, More, on tap I highly recommend it. Dark, nutty, delicious. - ukleon
