The food was fantastic. Love their prix-fix menu. Definitely order the escargot if they have it. Everything was cooked perfectly and the service was excellent! Apple tart for dessert - don't miss out!

Simon Kratzer

Quality of food, beverages and personnel is just fabulous!

Simon Kratzer

Great for brunch - Free coffee refill and a delicious chicken sandwich big enough for two.

Morgan McKee

Surprisingly bustling spot, primarily with families. Food is still on point, comforting, great portions. Bar service pretty attentive too! Great spot if in the neighborhood .

Brittney Potter

The food,OMG! Their jumbo lump crab omelette with cream cheese & avocado ! One of the best Omelettes I’ve ever tried. Paired with their potatoes & salad . The mocha cafe is huge & delicious!

ZenFoodster

Absolute fave: French Onion soup !! ;9 Choucroute is also good. Had Steak Frites w/ both Au poivre & red wine sauces on side-both great but I prefer the wine sauce . SKIP Les Halles & come here!

Christian Dickmann

Start with the Onion Soup . Orange Duck as main course. Finish with Chocolate Tart (very moist, slightly salty, peanut butter ice cream ). Every course is a delight.

suad

they might have the best roasted fingerling potatoes i tried in the city ! The staff is super helpful and friendly and the seating outside is lovely, while the indoor seating is good for dates .

Leo Sumulong

I've been coming here for years and they've never disappointed. The egg dishes are all great choices for brunch and the French onion soup is reliably hearty and delicious too, at any hour.

Mike Kowalczyk

Delicious food. The moules "poulette" are excellent. Bring your appetite and ask for a loaf of bread to dip !

Lauren Festa

Best flourless chocolate cake . A true French gem in UES!

Leszek Dowgier

In a city overflowing with brunch options, this may be one of the best. And you can still enjoy their great outdoor seating for a few more weeks.

Everything we had was delicious! Ginger & Blanc d Blanc cocktail , followed by pre- theatre choices: chop salad , roast chicken breast , sauerkraut and sausage followed by fettechini with pesto sauce .

Vittorio Spoldi

Had the zuzulella (spelt wrong) the Jewsish dish, it was delicious and unique. Highly recommended. Waiter was great, even gave us advice on where to live in New York, super friendly .

Haneen ????

Yummy breakfast ! Portions are big enough to share! The crepe soufflé was amazing!

The Corcoran Group

A great place for a lazy Sunday brunch – go for the Omelette d’Alsace or the Frittata Provencal, or maybe the Apple Pancake or the Tarte Flambee – everything is delicious.

Katie Larusse

Great brunch ! Loved the bread basket and all the food we ordered. It's quite cozy too. They don't accept reservations , but you can leave your # and go for a walk!

Emma

Great place for lunch . Have the 25$ lunch set, very good deal ! Steak and fries , cauliflowers and goat cheese tatin are excellent! Great cocktails as well .

Malea Grubb

Great, reasonably priced French bistro . I love the ambiance both inside and on the outdoor patio . If you like French Onion Soup , definitely order it here!

zizoo

My favorite brunch place in the upper east side. Awesome coffee , try the Alsace omelette and the brioche French toast . Eggs Benedict are great.

Brett Fromme

Excellent Onion soup and the best Steak Fritte I've had in NYC. A very enjoyable Cote Du Rhone completed the French bistro atmosphere.

Michael Fox-Rabinovitz

Nice ambiance, great beer list , solid steak tartar , good tarte flambee . Duck is good, desserts are tasty. Good date place or dinner place .

Mashka

The grilled octopus app, big portion but swimming in oil. Seafood sausage surprisingly good and exciting, served on sauerkraut . Trout , huge portion , 2 files on rice , light & good. Duck burger huge.

Tony Xerri

First things first. Get a cappuccino . Now, you can get classic with a Croque Madame but if it was me I'd go straight for the kill with the lamb burger served medium rare. D'Alsace is French for "Win".

Julie Son

Huge list of beer and.wine . Had the cider beer not my favorite, but I'm not a beer gal. Steak frites mediun rare very good. Although 10oz looked like 6oz. Fries were fresh, crispy and good.

A great french restaurant and the perfect spot for a lazy Sunday brunch or an intimate dinner date night ! Best wine on the UES!!

Elizabeth Maiuolo

Steak tartare and steak frites are fantastic

Alex Lund

Great brunch ! Not so good dinner . The waffles here are to die for. Dinner plates however were a bit stale and plain. Don’t recommend for dinner .

Viking Real World

The arugula salad is fantastic (they drench it in dressing so ask for it light if you need to). The benedicts are delish. The salmon is my favorite. Yum!!

Ru Lu

The service is super friendly . The lamb ... Melted off the bones. The portion is very generous. The guests are diverse too. Definitely going back.

Judy Kadish

Roast chicken stuffed with fois gras was perfect! Spaetzle done just right. Huge beer selection ... They have a beer sommelier !

Colin Lee

The baked eggs (shashuka) with the sausage were delicious. Large restaurant so easy to get seated

Go for weekend brunch . Prepare to wait for a table (no advance ressies) but it's worth it. Thank me later.
