Carl Schurz Park

A lovely neighborhood park on the eastern edge of Yorktown in the UES. There are two dog parks and benches all along the water with great views . Very calming especially in the evenings.

A hidden gem on the Upper East Side. Perfect for running, catching the sunrise, walking your dog, or just as an escape from the hustle of the rest of the city . Especially beautiful in the spring!

DOGS. Great dog parks (one for big and one for little). Right on the water and houses Gracie Mansion . Beautiful landscaping. Great place for a run.

Lovely spot to walk, run, sit, lay down. Anything! The park is a nice oasis in the city with lots of nooks, flowers , grass, and waterfront promenade .

Getting away from the hustle of the city isn't going to Central Park but to a more secluded one like Carl Schurz. East River breeze, rewarding views , basketball courts , space for running it's all here

Stumbled upon this gem whilst doing #DontWalkBY with my amazing team on V-day. Great dog run and running path if you're in the UES. Great view of the East River even on a snowy day .

Carl Schurz Park is a perfect place to relax for those who look for grassy areas outside of Central Park . A small field is perfect for sunbathicng or reading and a dog park lets pets run around.

One of the best swimming pools in the city . Also, they have an excellent Vinyasa Yoga class at 1130 on Sundays

Sunbathe or sit in the shade under a tree in the less visible areas hidden behind the stair case at the entrance at 86th St. The area to the north of the staircase is great too.

Nice park with great views of the East River . Has a dog playground that is very popular with all the UES dog owners and their best friends.

Sit on one of the benches by the East River , toward the top of the park behind Gracie Mansion , and you'll get a cool breeze, a great view and a bit of serenity of soaking up the water vibe!

About 3 miles to walk or run next to the east river . Beautiful view of Roosevelt island and two bridges . Come and enjoy the view !!

Nice park with a view of the city . On the left is the Triboro Bridge and on the right is the Queensboro Bridge . Good spot for romantic dates .
