A lovely neighborhood park on the eastern edge of Yorktown in the UES. There are two dog parks and benches all along the water with great views . Very calming especially in the evenings.

Lovely spot to walk, run, sit, lay down. Anything! The park is a nice oasis in the city with lots of nooks, flowers , grass, and waterfront promenade .
Getting away from the hustle of the city isn't going to Central Park but to a more secluded one like Carl Schurz. East River breeze, rewarding views , basketball courts , space for running it's all here

Carl Schurz Park is a perfect place to relax for those who look for grassy areas outside of Central Park . A small field is perfect for sunbathicng or reading and a dog park lets pets run around.
One of the best swimming pools in the city . Also, they have an excellent Vinyasa Yoga class at 1130 on Sundays
