Don't let the perfectly appointed interior and shiny logo fool you. Fortissimo is a locally owned coffee shop with house made pastries and feet sandwiches . I'm eating one now! Mmm bacon .
The sandwiches are outstanding, the espresso is the best around, and you can play a record on the turn table. A great new addition to the neighborhood . A strong alternative to bloc 11 or Sherman cafe .
The sandwiches are delicious, and quite large. You can probably get away with just ordering a half, which also comes with potato chips on the side. Free wifi available with password "fortissimo."
Coffee is in the name, but the sandwiches at Fortissimo are the stars of the show. Try the Uncle Toni for just the right amount of vegetables , and a perfect balance between spicy and sweet.
Great cafe menu with filling breakfast and lunch options. Feels like a strange mashup between a commercial and independent coffee shop .
New space is nice—different vibe. Seats, however are WAY TOO LOW. Sit in the front at the big table or at the bar .
Good chai lattes and yummy Brazilian cheese balls! Just make sure the cheese balls aren't old which they are sometimes.

The Cali Club sandwich is delicious, and a half is a meal in itself. And 'Vote with your tips' for Biggie or Tupac was a fun idea.
"Free wifi " isn't free, you have to buy a five dollar item per person. Chai drink was pre made in a bottle and bland. Coffee had also been sitting a while. I wouldn't recommend this place.
New owner. Turntable is no more. :( Replaced by questionable music stream. Food is about as good as the music .
