Coffee from a bus/van with a wood deck...? Seems like a low-rent operation but you can't miss much with coffee and snacks so it has a reasonable charm to it.

Seriously delicious espresso and cold-brew coffee (Toddy .) I like a quad iced espresso or Americano . I want to try a Toddy or Naughty Toddy next! =D

Easily the best coffee in Kauai . Americano and toddy (cold brew ) were excellent and they had great pastries too!

The cold brew is just incredible! Some of the best I've ever had (high praise coming from a Seattleite).

Most pictures of this place on Foursquare are of their old location. It's now down the road across from the hostel operating out of a bus with a small porch in front of it.

The italian scallion is amazing...chai latte a bit weak in flavor, service is slow and definitely without a smile but if you can deal with that than its a pretty cool little hangout.

Great breakfast sandwiches ! A bit of a wait for food, but well worth it. I had the "pig in the apple tree " - delicious!

El guapo is freshly prepared while you wait. Whih is why it is Quite possibly one of the best sandwiches on the menu.

Iced toddy coffee is delicious. No bitterness. You can drink it black even if that's not your style.

Small Town 's coffee is from Barefoot Roasters in San Jose, CA. Equally delicious are their baked goods . Don't miss the lemon scone !

Honestly I don't know what the hype is about ... My husband and I are huge coffee drinkers ... Got the French press , garbage tasted like tea water .... Waste of money ... Def going back to Java Kai
