Highly recommend Dirty Dining (finger buffet ); a crazy meat-feast on the first Wednesday of the month. It's noisy , messy and lots of fun. Buy tickets in advance.

Good, no-frills pub with a decent burger and large beer garden . Gets pretty busy when there's football on, which might be a positive or negative depending on your views on football . Serves pale ale ????

The place is looking better than ever after its recent refresh. And they have the two big seasons nailed ; huge garden for summer, huge cosy fireplace for winter. An N16 gem.

Great garden . Nice place to hang out with your friends . The only problem was that they didnt let us stay in the garden after 8pm.

The roasts aren't anything to boast about but it's cosy in the winter and the beer garden is fantastic in the warmer weather. I avoid like the plague whenever sport is playing though.

UPDATE: Made a complaint. They said the new chef was on the way out. They offered me a dessert and my friend a drink. So overall they made up for a bad start. Looking forward to the new chef .

Have the quarter pounder with fries ; lovely juicy burger in a brioche bun with skinny fries you can still see the skins on

Good place for casual Saturday night drinks

Don't know what's happened since the last time we've been here, but the Sunday roast has taken a bit of a disappointing nose dive. Shame. We only used to come for the roast.

Can get pretty noisy when arsenal are playing, but otherwise its pretty good for drinking. Nice beer garden , cheap(ish) by stokey standards

The vegetarian Sunday roast leaves a lot to be desired for. The nut roast was boring and vegetables miserable. Wouldn't recommend it.

Avoid the sunday roast on a sunny day especially after 2pm. Raw meat, poor service, bland insipid vegetables .
