Marinated meats very tasty, even non marinated good quality, could be eaten without dipping sauces (not that sauce selection was great - soy sauce , sesame oil and ssamjang. Seafood good quality too.
All you can eat with really good quality meat; forget about places like Chako - this is a bit more expensive but much better value! They claim to be Japanese BBQ ; more like a Japanese-Korean fusion.
Squid was especially delicious. Love the portions and ability to order exactly what you want.
Kurobuta sausage has casing. Normal sausage uncased & coarse: Taiwan sausage taste. Only 2 desserts : Melona bars (only 1 each) & creme brulee (pretty good - rich, creamy, smooth enough, decent finish)
Lunch menu definitely smaller, but still lots to eat. Small selection of dipping sauces has gotten even smaller, with only soy sauce & ssamjang left. Items still good quality & mostly don't need sauce
They've improved the quality of the sides & there're more desserts for dinner now (for lunch it's only 1 vanilla soft serve per person).
Sides pretty lousy - mostly dry & tasteless (miso soup & cold tofu OK). Just order a bit to cut the meat taste. Portions small-ish (making portion control easy) and service is good for an Asian AYCE .
Long wait times. They won't take reservations for groups less than 6. Food quality is great, if you are willing to wait.
The ribs here are unreal! I'm sure everything else is great too but I haven't been able to bring myself to order anything but the ribs! - Mike Austin
BBQ lamb ribs is a must try. Dry rub on the outside, and all the juicy goodness trapped inside. As a bonus, ask what the BBQ lamb egg (lamb bomb) is... - Benjamin
