The English afternoon tea is expensive and not so good. 4 little scones and 2 teas for 35£ !! But the place is really quiet and beautiful in a Art Nouveau style. There is even a woman playing the lyre

With the caress of crotchets and quavers delivered hauntingly via harp strings I felt that I had entered a whole other world. I would recommend green tea ; pretzels and nuts and a book of poetry.

If you've never had clotted it Devonshire cream before, this is the place. The creams here are so delicious that I dream of them! Ps- u don't have to drink tea . I drink lemonade or cocoa .

Relaxing, filter coffee is beyond good.

Nice bar to just relax in. Wine isn't too pricey at all.

Not interested in the legendary high tea . My preference involves gin , vermouth and olives . Well done.

Used to be good, but ever since the redevelopment, it's gone downhill. Avoid the burger at all costs - you'll do much better at your local chicken shop. Shocking. New Palm Court opens in May.
