Didn't go inside, but the lawn/garden is beautiful. Lots of people were playing with their dogs; someone was taking wedding photos.
This building once housed the Charlotte Mint . The museum opened in 1936 and was the first art museum in North Carolina.
It's fun to hang out on the grounds or have a picnic . The outdoor area is beautiful!
I can't wait to check out their new space. I saw the New Orleans traveling exhibit which was excellent.
