A nice park , with some courts, and amazing playground for kids, lakes and benches . Very cool to spend a day or an afternoon.

I Love Freedom Park completely! It is my favorite place in all of Charlotte. I have a lot of history in this park going back decades! I can take it back to going to the Festival in the Park and more!

Really nice park . Lots of walking/running paths and plenty of benches to sit and and look at the lake .
Beautiful park in a beautiful neighborhood . Go in the morning to avoid the crowds (and heat).
Photo Tip: Bring a bag of bread , let some kids toss out the pieces, and have fun shooting photos of the ducks and geese!

Freedom Park is a favorite stop along the Little Sugar Creek Greenway . Bring a sack lunch , water and a compass.
One of my favorite spots for walking. Take some bread to feed the ducks!
The Greenway on the opposite side of the creek is an awesome detour when running.
So pretty in springtime when all the trees are in bloom. I've been coming to Freedom Park my whole life.
Check out the Nature Museum , adjacent to the park on Sterling Rd. You can approach the back from inside the park by going east.

Great place to take the kids or just go for a walk. This is the best park we have found in Charlotte. Clean and in a nice area.
Wonderful park ... the best we have found in Charlotte so far. This side of the park has a small fenced play area for younger kids.

Don't try to feed the geese. Its not only harmfull to the eco system in the park ... it can get you a ticket.
