Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail

Beautiful scenic walk for all levels of hikers! The paved road is safe and very comfortable for walking.

Beautiful view ! If you're daring, near the top where you see a sign about whales on your right, head down the rocks to the tide pools and blowhole below! Watch your step, though!

We just loved this trail ! The ocean was royal blue. Halfway up I had to stop to take lots of pictures. On the top there is an unbelievable lighthouse .

Beautiful views all the way up. Somewhat difficult for elderly & very young; the paved trail makes it easy for most. My 11, 9, and 7 year olds had no issues. 84 year old father almost made it to top.

It’s windy up here but gorgeous. Hike is paved and not too steep. Be on the lookout for whales !

Super easy trail . I was able to see a stingray (manta raya). They are fixing the lighthouse , so I couldn't see it. In other time.

This hike doesn't look like much because it's paved, but its a steady incline the whole way. Wear comfortable shoes and bring a bottle of water!

We totally got lost and ended up at the top of the mountain where the WWII bunkers are. Worth it.

I just wanted to learn about the light house-they give you glimpses only-so I was disappointed. I didn't even see the info signs on the way up.

ゆっくり登って約1時間弱、ずっと舗装されているので安心です。途中クジラポイントは気持ちいい。頂上まで行ったら、ラビット岩、EASTの海岸 線がキレイに見えます。

素晴らしい！次に行ったらsunriseにチャレンジしたいですね。
