Come here with friends, get bottles of Nigori (unfiltered sake ) and bowls of ramen ... great night out. Forget Japantown or FiDi, this is one of the best bowls of ramen in SF, period.
Vegetarian ramen is absolutely delightful. Miso-based broth is flavorful and has depth, unlike other ramen places that lean toward citrus flavors. Tofu chashu is unique and egg is perfectly cooked.
After a bowl of vegetarian ramen , order the housemade taiyaki: a fish-shaped cake with red bean paste filling made-to-order. Red bean paste tastes housemade as well and not too sweet!
So good! Really satisfying shoyu ramen with chashu chicken and unique presentation of appetizers (edamame stacked bento , want!) Super friendly staff and awesome/ridiculous playlist. A Mission must.
Ramen here is good. Flavorful broth, tender pork Kakuni, egg was overcooked and wish noodles was handmade . A little pricier than others - $13/4 a bowl. Chicken karaage was crispy & tender, delicious
This is MY new favorite ramen spot in SF. Super great chashu broth and super tender pork . Great service. Love the yellow Tamil starter. Cold tofu too.
Love the kakuni ramen . Nothing quite like it out there! Been here dozens of times and sometimes the chunk of kakuni you get is better than other times. Great for a rainy day in SF.
So good! The pork ramen is delicious and the BBQ short ribs were so good! This is a great place to grab a seat at the bar . Izakaya is also very affordable , will definitely be back!
OK, yes the ramen is good, with perfectly chewy noodles and a gooey egg , but can we talk about how delicious and refreshing the seaweed salad is?? Two kinds of seaweed on top of a bed of wild greens
The pork in the Kakani Tonkatsu ramen was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Also, the eggs are cooked perfectly and ooze out lovely soft boiled yolks . Love this place. Hip tunes a major plus as well .
Come in to one of the top restaurants in the Bay Area when it comes to delicious ramen . It has everything from spicy to sweet and will blow your taste buds away. Read more
Superb ramen (get the tonkotsu with both chashu and kakuni pork ) and generally very good cooked dishes. Get the BBQ Kobe beef ribs and the fried shrimp with chili sauce .
My new favorite ramen place in SF. Super delicious thick broth. Get here early to avoid the line .
Get the tonkotsu with an extra egg . Warms the soul and your tummy after a cathartic yoga class at YTTP.
I've had all the meat ramens , and my favorites are the shoyu and clam . We also enjoyed the cold tofu and the sweet and spicy chicken wings .
Really great noodle . For the vegetarian that I am getting, they don't even use egg noodle . Ask for spicy one, super delicious. They have vegan option too.
I am absolutely shocked. The vegetarian ramen is so hearty. This is a true winner. I never like vegetarian ramen but this is too good.
The takoyaki brings back memories of Tokyo. I thought pork belly ramen was delicious w/ flavorful broth. Cramped space = authentic
Get the clam seafood ramen ! It’s so worth it. Add corn if you want some extra sweetness.
The best veggie ramen I have ever had! Incredibly rich, and delicious. The seaweed salad is incredible too!
The broth is Rich and flavored. I really appreciate the focus on spicy levels.
Amazing chicken ramen ! The service is slow and kind of chaotic, but so worth it on a cold rainy day!
Veggie Ramen is Delicious! Great starters and tasty Taiyaki.
My favorite ramen in the city ! And I've had a lot of ramen...get the tonkatsu with the kakuni
The tonkotsu broth is great as are the chashu and the egg . The noodles aren't anything special
great broth! good sake . decent prices. service is ok. our server, Sean, was good. every other server needs to put a smile on their face.
Really good Tonkotsu ramen !
The tonkotsu is flavorful and I really love the noodles here. Best noodles in town .
I would get the ramen without spicy for a more authentic taste. The spice hides the real taste of the broth.
Kakuni tonkatsu ramen was good. Try it as spicy
I always order the chashu chicken as an extra side. It's not on the menu but they'll do it.
Start with the grilled squid , Nigori sake , & a Sapporo . Finish with veggie ramen , extra spicy .
Best Ramen house in the Mission, by a long shot. I pray for delivery come winter.
cute interior, mediocre ramen - also ordered the yellowtail appetizer which came with a lot of salt on it. as far as ramen places in sf, you could do a little better.
Best ramen house in the city . Vegetarian and vegan options available!
Veggie miso ramen is excellent!
Another tip: real Japanese making the ramen bowl, not Mexican or Chinese. Line starts around 6:45 if you have a big group.
Good food and tasty! The place is too hot to seat inside.
The tonkotsu ramen is fantastic, but try the geso karaage (fried squid legs ) too!
It's ok. Overcooked noodles , un-Japanese service. If you want exceptional ramen go to Waraku for their tonkotsu and Ken Ken for everything else. Absolutely not deserving of #5 ramen in the city .
Miso veggie noodles
Good prices, the boiled egg in each ramen bowl is the best part. Ramen here is just OK. Pork chashu tastes like burnt wood.
AMAZING, hands down one of the best ramen places ive been to
How to eat your egg , Bite from the Bottom & suck the egg yolk , enjoy
Solid tonkotsu , a bit too sweet and creamy. No extra toppings ????????
love the shoyu ramen and the soft boiled egg .
Great ramen & the boiled eggs are delicious
The good: the pork in the tonkotsu ramen is pretty good; the bad: egg was cold and noodles were overcooked. The chicken yakitori seriously tasted like it was flavored with lemon Pine Sol.
Rich Tonkotsu Ramen . It's the goods.
The broth is incredible and the perfectly spicy .
Get any ramen with pork belly on it; the pork belly is amazing. - Christopher Lee-Egan
The sushi here is surprisingly great! Try whatever is on their specials board. The fire dragon roll and Coco's eel roll are delish. Good sake choices too. Our new favorite sushi place in the area. - Gina Solomon
Iced Boba Mill Tea is refreshing and so tasty. Give it a try. - Juan Carlos R
Blue bottle coffee ice cream! Great mint chocolate. Honey lavender is a unique option. - Ryan Tauer
the tacos are so. good. the banana walnut ice cream, peanut butter twist and chocoholic are my favorites. - cami j.
