Takis Bakery

Well , what can I say about Takis bakery ..it has been the home of my most profound and interesting explorations on desserts and baked goods tasting. Best ingredients and best staff in Athens!

I am in food business and I think I know many things about food, quality and taste. If you pass from that place you have to stop and try something, Like the zucchini pie or a croissant ... Very good

The best bakery full of locals. Amazing pastries , pies - sweet or salty. Little cookies , cakes , biscuits , baklavas . Simply the best bakery ! ????

Fresh baked bread made by knowing hands. What's not to like? We had several different breads and we even tried their whoopie pie , all excellent. We plan on visiting more often before we leave.

The cakes are indeed amazing, the savory goods (croissants , quiches , spinach pies etc.) not so much. The dough was chewy and plain bad. I haven't tried the bread though. Not sure it's worth the hype.

Not for a diet season..lots of low fat goodies but you'll miss great variety of yummys ,Dinkel loaf,classic,crispy Greek white bread .. Choco filled sesame bread sticks .. And bla bla bla..Keep eating

Try the whole wheat koulouri with cranberries and linseed. Excellent!

Its the best bakery in Athens . Try the brownie and the milopita ( apple pie )

WHY THERE: local traditional Greek bakery . STUFF: nice. STAFF : ok. LOCATION: mainstream (relatively convenient). PRICES: average (reasonable)
