If you're exhausted from your journey and need a good spot to simply lay on your backs and watch the stars, wander down to the Hester St. Playground track by Canal Street. Chill AF on summer nights.
This is a large play area with sections for the smallest kids up to basketball and handball courts. If you took a long trip with kids to get to Grand St, this is a good spot to let them unwind.
Sometimes people watching is the best education . Grab a bench and soak up the scene in this cross-section of NYC life.
So cute !!! Just like China!! Join the grandmas in a game of mahjong and bring your lil ones to play in the playground at night :)
Look for the Zoolander City Center for Ants by the entry. ????

Best playground ?! This one is disgustingly dirty . Litter and garbage everywhere. Not as bad as the other playgrounds north of it in Sara Delano park , but absolutely stay away.
In case you may need it, there is a restroom here. :-)
