Just about my favorite area of Manhattan. You can't go wrong in Union Square and my favorite B&N is right across the street. There's also Union Square Cafe which is a great place for a caipirinha

The Dr Seuss looking megaphones are magic. Talk into the red one and it comes out the light blue one!
The switch for the water feature is on the ground in the middle of the drain. Don't worry, you get a few seconds to get out if the way before it starts
People call this brand-new playground a children's Shangri-La. They're right. An added bonus? It's next door to the Farmer's Market .
Careful with the spinning disc. Great fun but has flying-kid limb-breaking capabilities.
Parents need to keep more than diapera on their kids when in the water sprinkler area. Are they too stupid to realize there are pervs around?
Creative playground . But many places for those under 3 to get hurt.
M-F 3-5 it's packed and most of the day Sat&Sun go before 11am or after 5pm to avoid the crowds
