Amazing views of the city paired with good food and live music . Brunch is hella overpriced, but weekday lunch , dinner , high tea , or cocktails are worth it. Great for dates and special occasions
Yes, the views are awesome. But let's talk about the s'mores - they come with spiced apple marshmallows !! So flavorful and the texture is like soft heavenly pillows .
Pages and pages of martini's ($14), any way it's made. The views , the live bands and the dancing . There's also the small plates with Dungeness crab ($22) and the salmon on a chip .
Orange canoles are very tasty and is a good addition to martini
They've never heard of the 'Ward Eight' - the discounted cocktail on the check-in special. The cocktail is served at the 'Top of the Mark' restaurant on the rooftop . Lunch there is $79!
This is an amazing spot with a breath taking view of the city ! Great cocktails ...didn’t try the food but this would be a great date night
I think is the best place to have a meal or dinner in all SF. The view is just breath taking. Reservations are very important so make one
Great spot to go for a sunset cocktail at the top of the Mark Hopkins hotel to see stunning views of the city . Too expensive for food, so go somewhere else after for dinner .
Fantastic all round view of San Francisco, good food d and great bar . What more could you want?
Really enjoyed the views here! Mussels were amazing! (Although about 1/4 of them weren't opened which I felt was a waste.) Also had the quesedilla sausage cheese dip thing, pretty tasty too.
Outstanding view worth a trip, not sure if the vibe or layout of the bar is worth repeat visits. Solidly strong Manhattan though.
Enjoy the complimentary wine tastings and watch Father of the Bride at Top of the Mark this summer night. First come, first served so be there early. Tue, 7/8, 5:30-7:70pm. Read more
Not a great place to take pictures. The view is great, but you have to shoot through the windows and there are tables all around them, so you should disturb other people in order to shoot all around.
Best hotel-bar-top view in all of SF with a famous 100+ martini list. Hisotry: bar included in original hotel design, which was drawn && built during prohibition. ;)
Great cocktails and vibe with the Saturday afternoon live music . The Okd Fashioned is a great cocktail
Get there for 4pm and enjoy a cocktail and the sunset . The elevator will not bring you up till 4, it's on a timer
The way to have a view and pay for it. Go on a night with live music to get your money's worth. And a clear sky....duh.
Great views of the entire city . The champagne brunch is fantastic with fresh food . Definitely go for a special occasion !
Great panoramic view of the city . Watch the fog roll in, drink cocktails and listen to the live piano .
I can't believe that people actually rate this place. It's the most dowdiest; frumpiest and staid place I've ever been to. The only redeeming factor is the great view of the city .
Worth the cover and price of martinis . To die for views , fun love music and dancing , and yummy drinks
Good Manhattan Martini
Food is a bit pricey for what it is..But what you are really paying for is the view ! Absolutely stunning! Also, Mr.Joe was a really nice waiter :)
Great spot for an upscale drink and views of the city and Bay .
Amazing drinks, amazing views . Not douchey at all, which is an added and non-commodity benefit in this part of town . What's not to love?
There's a 100 strong Martini list, tarot readings, wine tasting and the view is utterly breath taking. http://barchick.com/find-a-bar/san-francisco/top-of-the-mark
This corner is where four fucking awesome hotels exist right across from each other, some used to be mansions belonging to the richest motherfuckers in the city way back when.
You go for the view and to check it off your bucket list - not for the drinks or the (very surly) staff .
try lychee martini ! show your key to bartender or pay a $15 cover fee.
There is a cover but worth it for a martini with a view . Ask to seat North or South views .
Use your 4square check in for a reduced martini price with a great view of the city . Very good drinks by the way! !
On a low fog day you can see above the fog from this venue - super cool! Perfect for an after work drink, or two...
Wonderful view from top of the hill . Drinks can get pricey at $14 a pop, but they're very good.
Very cozy , great view and drinks!
Snooty service from a rude waiter . If you can put up with that, you'll have great drinks with a wonderful view .
Arrive before sunset , get a table by the window, order a cocktail and enjoy the best view in the city
Great views of course! Usually a wait to get in on the weekends.
Great place to grab a drink and take in the amazing view of SF
Free wine tasting and movie screenings Tuesday nights in the summer! Come early or prepare for a wait...
They are offering a wine and food tasting this month featuring Cuvaison Winery . I had the cabernet sauvignon paired with slow braised beef cheeck and it was amazing.
Table by the bar for the best view . Get there early or wait an hour.

The crab nachos were fabulous along with the view !
Great view while having a bite and drink
Breakfast isn't cheap , but you the view is worth it: great way to start your day.
They have gotten rid of the 100 martini menu . Why in the hell would they do that?! Huge disappointment and the stupidest decision in bar history.
Touristy for sure but great views . A bit dated but the live piano is lovely. Not hip yet still cool.
One of the best panoramic views of the city .
Oven roasted tomato flat bread is phenomenal!! Great mix of flavors!! A must have!!
Great spot to watch the Fleet Week aerial displays. The service isn't incredible but the view is, and there's a good selection of reasonable wines by the glass.
