An American and New Orleans classic. The gumbo is excellent and the chef doesn't tone down the spice at all. Enjoyed the ribeye on this visit.
Try the sausage , it's great! The gumbo rocks! It has a home recipe feel that reminded me of my grandmother. And, the drum divine! Banana creme pie , oh yeah! Really great food and great sevice!
Emeril's steak is quite possibly the best I've ever had. WIthout a doubt it was in the top five of my life. Fantastic service to boot. Let me swap for the sides that came with the chicken .
Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food was great! The gumbo was unconventional but tasty. I had a Mezcal cocktail that was excellent. The food is pricy but consistent and good.
To the world Emeril is a famous chef , to New Orleans he's a local. His original spot remains a top dinner or lunch choice. Get the chicken & waffles or bbq shrimp , your stomach will thank you later.
Nice venue with delicious food , portions are European size, but good enough. Drink menu is satisfying with great wines and cocktails , and super rich variety of whiskey . Spacious . Prices affordable .
Perfect place for a date night . Pork chops are very big and please get the andouille and boudin appetizer with collard greens .
Delicious pork chop , *perfectly* cooked. Lots of great char. Tender, juicy, not in the least dry. Really impressed at our meal here, tbh. Emeril could easily have chosen to coast on his rep.

Emeril put the fear of god into this banana cream pie . Just look at those bananas stacked ever so perfectly. Read more
Best restaurant in New Orleans !!! Best Gumbo , and the pork chop are the best !
The barbecue shrimp is to die for. The pork chop is amazing and freakishly huge
Everything I ate here was wonderful. Try a medium rare burger and the extremely good barbecue shrimp , maybe the best in New Orleans.
Try the Peach Bruschetta & the Andouille Crusted Rainbow Trout . My husband had the Buffalo Chappapeela Duck Wings , the arugula salad & the fish of the day (swordfish ). Everything was delicious!
Homemade Andouille and Boudin , Powerfully delicious pork chops followed by sweet potato ice cream @ roasted pineapple . Can you say "BAM!" The Banana cream pie was good too
Allen Nguyen, chef of Bayou Hot Wings , eats here on his nights off. He loves the Sticky Buffalo Chappapeela Farms duck wings .
Start with the duck wings . ... The awesome begins. ... Entree to your taste. ... Then partake of the Holy Goodness known as their banana cream pie . Thou shalt not be disappointed.
There are a few tables by the bar where you don't need a reservation . Service was fantastic, and the andouille crusted drum fish was light and delicious.
The tuna salad is more like lettuce wraps , but it's the best thing on the menu. Emeril's is the finest restaurant in New Orleans , don't miss it.
The best of all my trip. Chocolate soufflé was out if this world. The service was impeccable. Will come back again!
I've never had banana cream pie , but it was amazing here. Pork chop , bbq shrimp , and calamari are must haves
Dining Week Deals are perfect; Cornbread & Foccacia , Bucatini Nero were great; The Porkchop could be more tender, Rice Pudding not the best....
I loved the food and the wine , I recommend this place to anyone.
Surprisingly good!! Go with mussels for appetizers and crusted drum for entree!
Great service, good bread , mmm pepper jelly calamari , & tasty scallops and grits .
Banana Cream Pie !!!! Good lord it's divine. That's enough to bring you here. Perfect ambiance as well !
Good food and great wine selection . If you want chocolate soufflé you must order it WITH your meal. We didn't even know it was on the menu and had to wait 45 minutes after we had dinner .
The Fettuccini Nero was awesome, they even took us into the kitchen, so we could get a picture!
Best chicken and waffles I've ever had.
Andouille crusted gulf drum, banana cream pie
Everything is spot on. Try the daily soup , you won't be disappointed.
The home-made Andouille and Boudin is absolutely divine.! Absolutely one of the very best restaurants in New Orleans .
Where do I start?! Excellent food, stuff, ambience, everything !

Bam, the $22.5 3 course lunch is very good and reasonable portions .
The food was good. Service however was spotty. Seated at counter. I saw four other people get some small appetizers (asides from their regular ones) not on the menu but I was not given these.
Wagyu was fantastic. You CANNOT skip the banana cream pie .
Emeril's is always good! Try the one in Orlando too. It is fantastic!! :)
Emeril Lagasse serves up Creole cuisine, like Homemade Andouille and Boudin , in the city that inspired it all at Emeril's New Orleans.
Try the ribeye ! Amazing!
Get a seat overlooking the kitchen - it's great entertainment while you wait for your food!
Excellent service with reasonable price. Foods are great too. Sweet and sour lamb spare ribs is a must for appetizer :-)
Difficult to find words to describe the taste. Every choice takes you to another wonder of taste.
If you leave this place without eating a slice of Banana Cream Pie , you have failed at life.
Good food but service was excellent. Very attentive to@our needs
Soft shelled crab and drum were amazing.
I mean... I’d fly here just for the banana cream pie .
Pork chop was amazing, as was the banana creme pie !
I wish I tried the banana cream pie and the pork chop . I tried the chicken and waffles . Overall the meal was mediocre. Not horrible at all. Particularly the organic chicken was tasty.
