A great location and close to all that is downtown. Public parking next door is ok choice. Rooms are marriott excellence. Great central point to use as vacation hub. .
Don't pay to park in the adjacent garage . Plenty of free on-street parking on the side streets around the hotel .
Great service and clean rooms . Close to ferry and walkable to downtown. Do a brewery tour of Shipyard while you are over there!
What a great hotel ! It's reasonably priced, clean , modern, and it's basically a studio apt too. Would definitely stay here again!
One of the nicer Residence Inns I've stayed at. Parking is around the corner in a garage .
Friendly , fantastic staff (I'm looking at you, Mike). Fantastic, spacious , well-appointed rooms.
This monument outside the hotel 's Hancock Street entrance marks the location of Longfellow's birthplace
Free WiFi ! Password is "ribm" — can you guess what it stands for?
Tip the housekeepers : ) the rooms are diffucult to clean and they work very hard
Perfectly fine for camp visiting weekend - lobby ok - breakfast is a disaster - go elsewhere ! For what they charge almost 500$ a night need to do a better job !
Quiet after 10 please!
Parking- don't bother paying for garage parking , there's plenty of free on street parking available. Free breakfast is amazing!
Blew my mind! I wasn't expecting such a nice hotel !
Excellent service in great hotel !
Awesome suite for family of four, everything is brand new!
Whoever said park on the street was not here during peak season ( July & August). There is no street parking .
The place to stay if you're doing the Polar Express, which leaves from just across the street.
rooms are really cool great and very well furnished and bed is JUST GREAT!!!
Rooms are very clean , but it's not quite a WATERFRONT property !
Is like home but better :)
Breakfast 6:30 to 9:30 and they are strict about it.
Great hotel , newly renovated, spotless, great staff
Don't bother with the free breakfast . Literally the worst eggs I've ever had. And reasonably clean and comfortable , the hotel is overpriced. We got a "deal" at about $340 per night. Portland issue?
Don't plan to be able to park in the parking garage if you have a Thule rack--and they won't even work it out for you!
Nasty breakfast , pushy maids kicking you out of the room cause they need to be dine with their shift soon, and for what they charge, room service would be nice
Don't drink the shipyard beer . Go to Novare Res. Great beers there.
Ok breakfast . Not the best, not the worst.
No restaurant in hotel , breakfast buffet in lobby area only til 10:30am
Heated pool! Also be sure to take advantage of the hot tub/whirlpool - Eric Andersen
Loved our stay last yr here & coming back again for the proximity to downtown Portland & harbour shops, bars & restaurants. Shuttle service around town is an added perk! :) - ZenFoodster
Amazing view of the water and Portland from the deck. Reasonable prices and friendly service. - Megan Selby
poutine is amazing. milkshakes fantastic but you can't leave without having that pickle - Anthony Guarnaccia
Great atmosphere, friendly & knowledgeable servers, & above all, scrumptious food. Oysters are a must! - Shelly T.
The open kitchen is stunning and cozy, and Fore Street's James Beard award-winning dedication to local food is commendable. Mussels and a glass of wine at the bar are always an excellent bet. - From Away
